OT: Mafia game thread starts Sunday 8pm 14/9/14

So a 4-way tie between Billy, AFC, IBWT and Minxy.

Interesting. 4 of the 6 people of whom 3 is postulated to be Mafia. Could be worse. At least the vote looks more logical now... even if I don't 100% agree with it!

If we're right- at least one of them has to be Mafia. Although it could be 3 innocents... so 25% chance at least of hitting Mafia tonight. Possible 75% (but unlikely because Mafia wouldn't let us end up that lucky).

I'm not comfortable with AFC or Billy in it... but it's not too bad a 4-way. Worst case scenario with AFC or Billy being slain is that we lose one of the venge votes next day.


Bodanki hasn't voted though... and he's going to offset things and vote for Billy most likely.

I claimed to by the doctor and wasn't challenge. Your investigation backs up my claim 100%. If you are lying about not getting converted then I am still the Doctor since only one of us can get converted. If you are telling the truth about not getting converted then your investigation report saying I am doctor is true too since the investigation takes place after the conversion.

Subject to the snitch Milk and Bod have been declared innocent by you and Sky via investigation. You and Sky have been unchallenged in your claims for being cops so have to be deemed innocent too. Any one of you guys could have been converted but it can be only one. You or Sky are the most likely to have been converted IMO as this prevents the town gaining more much needed information, it also gives the mafia the chance to mislead the town folk too.

Trying to find the converted is difficult. Four subject with little to go on and three unknown mafia members influencing the thoughts too. We should stick to what we know.

I'm thinking only six (Billy, AFC, Astro, Minxy, Biscan & Nozzer) were not determined as innocent before the conversion, three of them are mafia, the other three are townies. We should all be voting for one of these rather than trying to find who as been converted.

Billy: genuinely no idea but things did seem to happen when he was a target (once being because of me though)

I believe AFC is innocent; he had accused everyone more than once by the end of day two. He is fair too erratic to be mafia IMO. I have no other evidence for this claim though.

Astro: been consistent throughout. Seems to be having similar thoughts to me judging by his explanations.

Minxy: been quiet so hard to judge. My psychic powers are pointing at her though, hence the vote (actually voted to see if anyone would defend her, nothing so far)

Biscan; been in constant dialogue with Milk but despite the dispute, he's not voted for Milk

Nozzer; sat on the fence throughout the game, generally giving revenge votes

Basically, I don't know from those six. One of them I suspect is innocent which leaves three from five as guilty. I just picked one

No... but we know 3 of the 6 not-known innocents from day 3 are Mafia- and 4 of the 6 are in the coin toss for tonight... logically we know that at least one Mafia is listed in the coin toss... it might only BE one Mafia... but at least one is in the toss.

 

I agree, we know three of those six are guilty so four being at risk guarantees one is mafia. Not happy if you or AFC go as thats two I have in the innocent column.

With just Bod to vote, Billy is ****ed

 

Gerrez- you may have already been planning this but as the only known innocent at the moment- I want to point out that you will be above suspicion if you change vote at the last minute. You can do so without throwing the town off track trying to lynch you tomorrow...

I would advise you to watch the thread like a hawk in the dying minutes... if someone tries to change the vote at the last minute before night is called- be prepared to counteract it in whatever seems the logical manner.

Have a thread open with "I change my vote to [B)[/B)" ready in a separate tab ready to fill in a name and vote. Because the town is not unified they may try slipping in a last second vote.

I'm not bothered by repercussions as I think I'll be assassinated tonight anyway. I'm protecting who i believe is the remaining cop, plus why would the mafia want to leave the sole person that is 100% innocent?

 

I'd be more comfortable if he voted sooner rather than later. If Billy is going to be slain... so be it... even though I suspect he is innocent- it give us a chance at having a unified town tomorrow. I just don't like the idea of Bod casting a last second vote.

 

- I felt it better for both you and the Mafia to know this rather than for neither of you to know this... I considered not making the suggestion to you. I didn't know if you had considered that you had this ability and could do so without drawing suspicion to yourself.

 

This As long as we have the innocents correct then what else can we do? I won't change my vote before the nights out and that's a guarantee (if the votes stay with me tied with at least two other suspects....if the votes stay balanced then I will fully accept the toin coss and consequences if another I've accused is slain and proves innocent). If there are voting shenanigans later though I reserve the right to at least try to balance things out before the deadline. Fair enough?

I agree if I die it will tell the town something but don't be so quick just to put AFC's voting down to revenge tactics when/if I die and you find out my innocence. It's been much more than that, it was orchestrated with others I must remind you

Even if AFC IS guilty... there are still 2 other guilty parties out there. We might be able to get a unified front against them (with more of a case) than we could for AFC.

After tonight (mafia most likely to win coin toss- because they can stack it how they like- and I'm suspecting only one mafia in the 4 up for elimination) we have to be unified or we'll be outvoted.

 

I've already made my decision but just to reassure myself, who do people believe more; Sky or Danilo...?
