OT: Mafia game thread starts Sunday 8pm 14/9/14

Exactly my point. Milk keeps saying that it's obvious that they'd go for the investigators, but I'm not sure it is. Milk would have been one of my top candidates for conversion if I were mafia.

That said, I also openly suspected him last night before nightfall, so maybe he's just a dodgy innocent!

 

No one is asking you to buy into anyones theory. you should look at the details you have in front of you and act on them. If you think Milk is guilty then stick with it but, to me, it seems daft to put your vote on someone that was considered innocent prior to the conversion.

 

not sure the context here but to clarify.

if someone is converted to mafia they become regular mafia, it is possible in future everyone might decide differently but for now that means powers are lost.

anyone all all could have been converted it is entirely open to the don to choose.

i hope that clarifys but again don't read anything into what i say as i am deliberately not saying stuff so as to not influence the game. it's entirely up to you guys to decide that is going on.

 

Ignore the bloody conversion, that is like trying to find a needle in a haystack! We know who was innocent prior to conversion so by process of elimination; six remaining, three are mafia and three are townies!

 

Both Cops have given us no help last night (one of them voted for the other with no logical reason).

Honestly it could be anyone- and it's hard to really say at this point... it could have been me, I'd probably be 4th choice for conversion- but again- I'm saying the exact same thing I said before nightfall.

We really can't say who the convert is... honestly- the reason I publicly said last night before conversion it made more sense for them to convert a cop is because:
a) it did
b) I hoped it would make them not do it if they knew it was an open theory... a regular townie is less valuable and we can afford to lose them.




So putting aside we don't know who the convert is... we do know that 3 out of 6 of:
IBWT, Nozzer, Astro, Minxy, AFC, and Billy

were almost definitely Mafia last night- it makes sense to take them out. Of those 6 AFC and Billy have mitigating circumstance- the other 4 don't.

 

Exactly... whereas I wouldn't say it doesn't matter (obviously it does) - it IS a diversion. We know that 3 of the 6 non-known innocents were guilty. So eliminate them because the Snitch AND the Mafia Don are amongst them AND we have a 50% chance hit-rate with them.




/ also note- it's the two people who keep showing up on the logical list of people who are Mafia who keep trying to muddy the waters with the conversion thing.

 

Remember that Danilo's input as cleared me of conversion whether he is lying or not

 

Me too....so how the **** is AFC getting away scot-free from all this I'm still not sure why his attacks on me count for so little despite being flimsy at best My reasons for voting for him were crystal clear...his reasons for orchestrating the campaign against me (which in fairness seems to have captured the public imagination) were because Hash outed him and I listened to the dying thoughts of someone who lets not forget WAS one of us Thanks for your support guys

Milk apart from we don't know you're innocent. Were assuming you weren't covered by the snitch. What if you're the don and the snitch is covering you every night to be safe?

Say us 5 are the only ones guilty enough times and people will believe you but they shouldn't just on that basis. You can't rule yourself out as innocent anymore than I can.

Good point! So presumably you're going to be extra keen... not just on killing Mafia but killing the Don.

 

The facts: We currently have a two-way tie. The person I consider to be acting most suspicious is asking me to make it a three-way. How should I act?

I don't buy into this 'make it a tie' stuff. The mafia simply won't allow a tie to happen involving a mafia member. We're better off picking the best option that gives us the most answers.

 

So IBWT is the snitch and you're the Don then!

 

That's partially the point... if they move... we've got 'em.


Currently the current 3 way seems cozy... Billy, Minxy and myself. No one seems to be willing to change the status quo- means Mafia aren't online... OR they're not worried by the threesome. Probably we're all innocent OR only one mafia member at most so odds work in their favour (or they're planning last minute vote switches).

 

Milk. I'm pretty sold on your innocence now (I don't think this game lets you get 100% about anyone, even when it is 100% ).

 

Which is what? At the moment, whatever happens, I don't see many answers.
