Out out out out out!!! Watching it on live stream... Disjointed slow and non existent! F@&k off now Felix!
It's a team picked by a man on the way out. Everybody knew/told us that Antonio was big threat on the left. His response? Play a centre back at right back. Fotheringham, so good he couldn't make it at Notts County. Forest are a good team, but we shouldn't be going to the City Ground like it's Anfield or the Etihad. Ugh, get out Felix.
I see Hoddle is being linked now - I'd be happy with that given his experience coaching youngsters out in Spain, seems like the right man and with something to prove who could implement some kind of vision and playing philosophy. The best way for Magath to salvage any goodwill is to walk and not wait for the payoff - fat chance though!
Hasn't he gone yet? 26 players in 7 matches, based on a squad chosen by the manager. I can be patient man; I don't like the revolving door approach to management; but we are overdue to address the problem. COYW
I read the following on FB: "6 defenders, 2 holding midfielders and we still let in 5 goals". There is definitely a problem for even the 1% left of supporters who still want him to succeed!! We need a manager who will do the following: 1. Stop the leaking defense. 2. Get a midfield formation that can play week-in week-out with minor tweaks 3. Find a good partnership up front. Roy's recipe... any manager's recipe who wants the team to do well! Have any of the three been addressed by Felix Potter? None what so ever... Get out and don't write back!
The problems can best be summed up by our goalkeepers. It's the one position you might reasonably expect a player to start 46 games a season. We are 7 games in and have started 3 keepers already. A strong team is built on partnerships and a strong spine. Consistent selection at keeper, centrebacks, strikers. We have none of that and it shows in games where our talent brought us 3 goals - but our lack of structure cost us 5.
When the manager says publicly after one match that he is "baffled" and then after the next that the season is a "catastrophe" it probably is time for him to be shown the Ausgangstür, as I think the term is in German.
Kit Symons odds-on favourite to take over, Danny Murphy says on TalkSport "never say never" about a return. Despite what I said about bringing in experience these appointments would lift the mood no end. Make it happen Mr Kahn. Also DM apparently said Sidwell, Stocky and Hangeland wanted to stay, but were released/sold anyway. Goodness me.
The time has come, and I would have liked him to succeed, for Felix to walk. Up until now I have tried to remain positive, on his side and triec to view things from his perspective. But I just don't see what he's trying to do with Fulham. I said before we were certain of relegation that a clear vision and philosophy needs to be written up in stone that will see our club hrough the next 10 to 15 years. I honestly thought FM was doin that, bringing through the young lads that were our future. This one philosophy has slowly been eroded as he's felt pressure of results. In a nutshell and in hindsight a bad appointment. Kyt should have been put in temporary charge in Feb. I'd love to Danny M back at the club.
Are they waiting to see people's reaction on Saturday?? Probably you are right, the 2700 that voiced their concern last Saturday are only about 20% of regular home support. They are looking for 100%!
The (flawed) thinking is that with a 2 day turnaround, there's no point in making the change. However I can't state just how much contempt I have for the 'one game to save his job' idea. If you're at that point then you have to make a change, one game isn't going to change things.
Don't know what to make of these statements: "Ole Gunnar Solskjaer leaves Cardiff after nine months as manager, citing a "difference in philosophy" to owner Vincent Tan." FM: "I talk to the owner every week, I speak to him and agree with him. But he is in charge. Who is paying, who is the man who makes the decisions? It is clear."
