    .....out of Cardiff.

    Difference of philosopies apparently.....

"A statement is being prepared by Cardiff owner Vincent Tan and that is likely to outline reasons for Solskjaer's expected departure.

"The situation is amicable and, while results have clearly played a part - for which Solskjaer has taken full responsibility - this primarily comes down to differing philosophies"

I would have thought that McGath would have been the first to go from Fulham out of these two, after their disasterous start to the season......

Me too mate. Something about English football and Norwegian Managers don't seem to work though. Of all Norwegians OGS should be a success. Not sure if this is Tan, too little patience, or OGS. He did very well with Manure youngsters and Molde. Shame, but possibly he's not hard enough.

I believe it is the southern half...there's a line that runs approximately east-west around Witham. People born and raised north of the line can actually turn out ok, with some exceptional cases going on to lofty achievements such as supporting QPR and enjoying normal sun tans...

Back to the off topic topic of the OP...Ole "Goner" Solskjær - if this was news that would be the headline...maybe one of the Cardiff rags will run with it.

I see that Fulham have outed Magath as well, which is a shame.

So two of last seasons' relegated teams have not started life well in the championship and have dispatched with their managers. I think that this puts into context what a massive achievement it was for us to go up straight away allbeit via the playoffs but if Charlie hadn't got injured we probably would have gone up automatically.

It also shows the importance of not being relegated again as it is very tough to climb out of the championship
