OT: Mafia game thread starts Sunday 8pm 14/9/14

Uncertainty on the doctor save is vital. Does his save count even if he gets a bullet?

 

Mafia:
Lucaaas

Almost Certainly
Nozzer and IBWT

One or the other of: Astro or Minxy

Conversion: Not sure... maybe Gerrez, (he's trying to set up a coin toss between two people he thought most likely innocent yesterday)... or maybe one of the cops. No info from Sky he's underground- and Danilo has been absent.

 

If Bod, Billy, and AFC are innocent we learn almost nothing.

If Bod is guilty I suppose we learn that AFC is guilty (and vice versa).
If Billy is guilty... I don't know what we learn... other than AFC and Bod are most likely innocent.


We won't have enough to go on in the next day- and we're back to almost certainly losing the game. We have to hit Mafia again- and we're leaving it up to a coin toss on three people who are all most likely innocent. It doesn't help the town.

 

In fairness I haven't vengence voted once I had nothing really on AFC other than his weird vote rigging/bargaining first round and Hash's say so. It was only when I mentioned him and Bod that they turned on me (pretty succesfully too until Danilo came out). I haven't voted for either today exactly to avoid any accusations of vengence voting

 

Milk i wasn't defending Lucaaas I was following gerrez's idea and with only 10 mins before the vote ended didn't have much time to question it! Even then when no one else said to do it I changed back to Lucaaas just to make sure he went.

Gerrez has held his hand up and admitted it was his idea so not sure why you think if be guilty unless you think Gerrez is?

 

Saving me is no longer vital, but putting me in for the lynch plays into the mafias hands. We've all pretty much agreed that Sky, Danilo or myself will have been converted. I know its not me so I believe one of Sky or Danilo is now mafia. If I get lynched, the mafia can kill the other cop and leave the town with no cops at all and as much information as now.

I will probably be shot tonight as I'm the easy option since I can't protect myself.

After I listed the 3 of you and explained what I was doing- and why I was saying I thought a split group was good- you very quickly changed your vote to Lucaaas.

You knew Lucaaas was guilty and hoped to save yourself by changing the vote.

 

Look at the reasoning. Do you think Billy, AFC and Bod can work together? I don't think any of them are mafia although I can't be certain for Billy or AFC.

As we've said all the way through, don't target someone for talking!

 

Or Milk as another "confirmed" innocent

I never said a three way coin toss, I suggested a two way before adding that voted one off does the same thing. I have since voted for Minxy too!

 

So you still have to be alive even if you've selected the right cop for the save? The save can only come as long as you aren't lynched (not that I was planning that anyway ). So at the moment we have to protect you from ourselves (which would make you an even better conversion target last night ). **** this is complicated

Also thinking I've perhaps got too comfortable with the thought that people consider me innocent. I've taken a bit of a lead role because of that position and now people are questioning me after the conversion. I expected the questioning but its not like I've done anything too dissimilar to before! I'm still pointing, poking and provoking the same people with similar questions. Still proposing similar proposals too.

 

I don't think any of them are Mafia either which is why it makes no sense to vote for them.

It's what 4vs7 now. If we pick an innocent then it's 4vs5 tomorrow and we'd have to all vote unanimously. I don't see that happening.
For example. Danilo, Sky, and Minxy aren't on most of the day- so might not be aware of the severity and split their vote.

We have to hit Mafia again tonight or we're toast. There are two almost certain Mafia- Nozzer and IBWT at least one of them should be in the coin toss. That way- if Billy gets killed and is innocent- hopefully the town will see sense and go after Nozzer/IBWT. If Nozzer/IBWT is killed and is guilty- we're save for one more day and should have a really good clue who the remaining Mafia is based on the vote.


Nozzer or IBWT against Billy would make tonnes more sense than putting two most likely innocents up against each other.

 

Well, you could throw Bod in there too then since sky investigated him

 

Yes. Order of nightfall activities...

1. The lynch mob will haul their target out of his house and execute him
2. The mafia don’s orders will take effect (a convert or kill)
3. A lone vigilante will slip out and take things into his own hands
4. The snitch will pass false info.
5. The investigator’s sitting in their cars staking out places of interest will find things out.
6. The morning newspaper will be published outlining what’s gone on.

Doctor can work is magic on numbers 2 and 3 only

 

Fine, don't go with the theory, I've already voted for Minxy

However, if we target someone we think is mafia and we are wrong then its game over (unless Billy is guilty) because Bod and AFC will still vote for Billy!

 

They probably won't kill Bod because a number of people still suspect him. That and AFC is going to continue making him look suspicious as long as he lives.

We weren't talking about killing, we were talking about who could have been converted.

I said sky, Danilo or me were the obvious targets. Astro said Milk because he'd been declared innocent. So I pointed at that that was the same for Bod.
