Hola Senors & Senoras, I know there is a lot of excitement with all the transfer gossip, but i wondered if you can help me out with some advice,i am looking to buy a property in or around SUNDERLAND,can you advise decent areas. No xxxx taking this is a serious question. Cheers ps We still need a proven striker to partner gyan and a right back F T M.
If I was going to buy a house in Sunderland, personally I'd pick somewhere in Fulwell given the chance.
Well i'm from Fulwell, and not being biased, i'd say it's the best area within the city limits, if you're going to live there. Depends a lot on your budget like, and what you intend to do with the prop.
How far out mate Bishop Auckland is a nice area but too far out for you i think. Just don't go North of Sunerland lol
All depends on your budget mate. Every area has it's share of loopers. My mate bought a house up the top end of Pennywell a couple of years ago because of budgetary constraints at the time. He is now in the financial position to move, he and his wife decided to stay as he has great neighbours and great community spirit. (It helped that Gentoo kicks out anyone for unsocial behaviour mind.)
A man with taste.... Lived Ashbrooke till the age of 9, moved to Seaburn (well, Fulwell, but last street before Seaburn Dean).
I'm never sure when one becomes the other, is it after Mere Knolls bank? The missus puts Seaburn on as her address and we're halfway up Sea Road!
Last street in Fulwell is Ambleside Terrace mate, as you pass it, with the methodist church on the right, you enter Seaburn Dene. All looks the same, but the houses in Fulwell are a canny bit bigger, as Seaburn was built after the war, when land was at a premium Sea Road is Fulwell, unless your beyond the Flying Boat, which is Seaburn. Clear as mud eh?
