OT: Mafia game thread starts Sunday 8pm 14/9/14

Way I see it is. If the information we have is all correct then the following is true...

...and we need to decide which one of the remaining eleven highlighted players to vote for considering anyone that was proven to be innocent could have since been converted.


If the mafia pulled a fast one, then we vote for Danilo! It this instance, where the actual **** is the other cop?

 

By suggesting you are the Mafia target for tonight ...... will that stop us thinking of you as a convert & save you for another round ?

 

No other investigator comming forward makes me believe danilo was innocent. Problem is danilo and sky are the two clear choices to convert as they have useful roles. Beyond them yourself or milk would of been my targets to convert.

I'm waiting for more votes to be cast before I suggest who I think should be in the running alongside billy..

 

If I'd been converted not only would I not need to save myself as I'd have already been converted, I'd also no longer have my Doctor skills either. Even if I had been converted and maintained my doctor skills, they'd be no use since the vigilante is already dead.

With everything being based on what Danilo claimed and me making it clear that I can protect anyone that comes forward, I think a hidden cop would have come forward by now.

Of course, a hidden cop could be thinking if they survive one more round then the mafia will have probably have used their remaining assassination. this would mean they could reveal themselves without risk assuming they could convince others they are telling the truth of course.

Oh I'm pretty sure you've made your opinion quite clear yeah Hence me saying you've already got me hung, drawn and quartered

So as everyone admits we will struggle with knowing who was converted? Best voting tactics for the day then?

Isolate one (looks like that'll be me ) and see if the mafia rescue him? Pro's - If the movement is blatant then it could be a sign of panic...Best way to do this might be to let the doc decide as he's the only one we can assume with any degree of certainty is neutral. Con's - easy to rig either way with the mafia having a conversion and still 4 votes.

Pick the 3 or 4 most likely and balance the votes out between them? Pro's - Get a couple of Mafia in this group and we could see a lot of late voting. Con's - Get none of the Mafia in this group and they will win for sure.

Spread the bets right across? Pro's - The Don will always be under threat. Con's - The vote will be easily influenced late on and could lead to the Mafia gaining control at a fairly low risk of The Don being found out in a toin coss.



What we need to decide is what the best voting tactics are as townies with one investigator and the doc left?

I can see a major problem looming here. If a Townie is lynched and assassinated, it leaves the game at 5:4 and in the balance. All townies would have to vote in unison to survive.

If Billy survives and, as I suspect, Bod & AFC are innocent, are they willing to play ball when it comes to Townies having to vote in unison?

With this in mind, maybe we need to make it Billy vs Bod/AFC this time around.

Not my preferred choice I'll add, especially since I have already said I think Bod and AFc are innocent. Nor am I convinced either way with Billy.

Putting him up against myself or Bodanki doesn't make sense given most seem to think we are innocent. Let's pick someone else who is looking dodgy and put them in the mix.

Or just trust we have it right and vote billy off

 

What if they convert someone else, doesn't that make it even worse situation for us?

That was my understanding.

 

Ok I'll go with that but if we're all innocent (unlikely the way we've been going at each other ) it'll be game over If I get lynched you'll have to go after AFC or Bod the following night and vice versa if one of them is innocent then I'll be for the chop. For me it'd have to be AFC really as Bod seems to have more suggesting he's innocent. Might be worth splitting it between me, AFC and another surprise candidate we decide on later Keep them guessing.

 

Oh so they get 2 kills and 1 convert? That makes it a bit better then

 

Or, I am thinking of the long term game and who would be willing to listen and work as part of a team. You and Bod are adamant that Billy is guilty and are refusing to budge despite there not being clear evidence. If Billy and you/Bod remain in the game and your all innocent then we are ****ed in the next round.
