Wow..the current going rate is supposed to be £2 million per 1000 seats so it should have been £17 million max, however it's not just extra seats, it's a wholesale development including buying loads of houses in the immediate area as Anfield was tightly squeezed between the houses in a residential area
Just been given 4 free corporates for that game, somewhere near the dugouts apparently ...just no club colours
We're really ripping off the fans of the big clubs this year, Arsenal charge us £26 and Liverpool charge us £43, we charge them both £50. You should only be able to charge what the other club charge you, its unfair to make the genuine supporters pay may because of who they support.
I think officially the rules are that away fans should pay the same as any other non passholder from the home club for an equivalent view. Our non passholder will have to pay £50 as a City fan for the game at the KC (although I think it is as much our own fans getting ripped off) I'm also sure we will be charging the away fans for Cat C games less than we will pay at their grounds. To our fans the big clubs are Cat A, but to the big clubs we are likely to be Cat C
Yeah I understand how it all works, but the system just seems inherently unfair to fans of bigger clubs who will have to pay a premium at every ground they visit.
But a bargain to those small clubs who charge big club prices for home games (QPR, Palace etc) I guess with the big clubs it's the price you pay for Premiership success
Premier League. I'm going to be applying for this one - only managed to get to a couple of aways last season so I'm hopeful I'll get tickets.
