OT: Mafia game thread starts Sunday 8pm 14/9/14

If everyone hadn't come clean Bodanki or Billy (both most likely innocent now) would have been killed last night).
Mafia would have 5 people- town would have 6. Town would have no clue who to go for next. It would effectively be game over- Mafia would just have to confuse one town person and they could lynch another townie and then use their execution on any random townie and they would have won.

Game would have been over tonight if Danilo hadn't come out. Danilo coming out saved the game.

Revealing everyone's role yesterday was a necessary act of desperation.

 

If you're accusing me of not being consistent, then I'll go back to my old tactic and vote people who vote for me. I change to Milk.

 

Once he got to 5 votes, mafiosi like Minxy joined the fray to make him the sacrificial lamb.

 

Its not about when you win, it's just about winning.

You getting everyone to confess to their roles made Lucaaas' role non existant meaning the mafia could afford to vote him off without looking suspicious.

 

No I went to town to get my haircut at about half one this afternoon (had to take my little one with me as the school rang to say he had a nasty bang on the head and he had to be collected from school) - so the poor little man's had one **** day....... I was going to put in the investigation when I got home - but **** hit the fan and I missed both ****ing deadlines

I was one of them originally, following the idea (Milk and Gerrez's idea) that we were going to split the vote...
That never materialised though

 

That's possible. Minxy could have seen that he was a gonner and nothing she could do by that point... but I'd put Nozzer, IBWT and Astro ahead of her.

It would just be TOO convenient if all three of them were Mafia...but they have to be prime suspects.

 

This is my theory comes in about the snitch.

If sky or Danilo investigate the other the response will be 'town cop' or 'Mafia' depending on whether they've been converted or not.

If they have been converted and the snitch is involved, it will say 'innocent' or 'townie', it won't say 'town cop'.

But think about it

One of them may find that out, but they'd both turn around and say "blah blah is Mafia"

Then we have 2 people claming each other is mafia and we'd be none the wiser and it comes down to who do you believe more

edit: I guess we have to find out from MITO if that is true or not, but either way I don't see how investigating each other is any use to us.

Especially if the don has been random again and not converted either of them... then we could vote one off assuming one is guilty and then say we'll vote the other off next day, and they both turn out to be innocent and we've got rid of our 2 most valuable people!

 

Nozzer... do you not agree with my logic that logically yourself, IBWT, and Astro are guilty?

I could be wrong about one of you in which case- make a case for the other two. Nothing to be gained by voting for me. We know I was innocent (unless protected by snitch) yesterday- so unless converted last night (very unlikely) I still am- and I'm still following my pre-night pattern of looking at you. (and to a lesser degree Minxy).

Logic should tell you I'm a very unlikely member of the Mafia.

It wasnt necessary to split the vote though. That's what I don't get. If Lucaas had been innocent we'd have lynched Danilo the following night anyway.

 

I lead the line for a split vote. I thought Lucaas had too many votes and not enough protection for him to be Mafia.

 

But do you see why I suggested that now? And do you see my logic. You, Nozzer and Astro have to be prime suspects. Surely if you're innocent that should make you even more convinced Nozzer and Astro are more likely guilty?

You, Danilo & Lucaaas were all mafia.

Danilo got in an early "investigation" to say you were innocent and put you off the scent.
You then got everyone to confirm their roles meaning Lucaaas became not needed.
Danilo then confirmed Lucaas is mafia to make himself look innocent (at the same time making you look innocent).

And that's where Milks (get everyone to confirm their roles) has screwed us for this round because it was then obvious one of them (sky or danilo) was going to be converted if they were both innocent meaning it's near enough impossible for us to know which is on our side and which isn't.

He's just sitting on the couch all bandaged up looking very pale and not saying a word - I think hes's in shock still.

Anyway I'll be off for a while as I'm gonna give him a nice big cuddle and watch the Chelsea game with him, while he tucks into some sweets
