Watched the 'Who Subsidises Who?' vid posted by Spurf.

Nearly fell of my chair when GERS came up in big writing, because that's the way Scotland will be going, the same way as Rangers.

"The Bank of England governor Mark Carney has said the Bank of England has developed contingency plans for a yes vote"

That's right, contingency plans which do not in any way involve a currency union, as he has quite systematically stated!

I will have to download it. I suspect it's more propaganda. However, whatever the Yes campaign say, a currency union will NOT happen!...

I'm off to the gym now. However, one thing springs out of that video immediately. If, as claimed the US federal reserve were the primary force behind the RBS bail- out, surely they would be the current majority shareholders? Not the UK Gvt?? My guess would be, and I'll look later, that the Fed offered emergency loan facilities. Nothing more.

Shell and BP have stated that they'd prefer to work inside a United Kingdom and not an independent Scotland. There was a 10 minute bulletin about independence on CNN last night and there will be all sorts of complications with the sharing of the oil revenues etc. North Sea oil is running out. CNN puts no at 48% and yes at 52%.

In other words, as I suspected, short term liquidity loans. The money injected by the UK treasury in return for equity was permanent capital. In other words, the UK tax payer bought the bank thereby restoring some confidence in RBS as a Gvt owned institution.

A huge amount of short-term loans given to keep RBS operating.

So how many Smackeroonies to the pound on Friday morning? Also Steve Archibald urges a yes vote for self esteem. I 've heard some rubbish before but this. Is he saying that England takes away Scotland's self esteem? Scotland has no self esteem at the moment? What twaddle.

I thought of that SD, it's on NewsNow, how independence will give Scotland self governance and self esteem. Archibald is campaigning for a yes vote. He clearly thinks Scotland is hard done by.

A study revealed that American prisoners suffer from too much self-esteem. It turns out only ordinary people need to follow laws.

I'm hoping Gordon Broon stands down from Westminster in 2015 and runs for Holyrood. He'll oust Smoked Salmond in no time.

Take Blair as well. I would have thought the Tories would want independence because Labour would lose a lot of seats in Westminster. Let's hope it's a yes vote tomorrow.

Referendum Eve. Possibly our last night of being a UNITED Kingdom. While I can fully understand the Yes point of view, if they win I will feel very sad at the break up of our UK.
We are such a tiny dot on the world map, seems a shame to break it.

I haven't heard anything official about passports to get into Scotland and vice versa nor QE2's Royal hangouts up there.
How much duty on Scotch Whiskey,I wonder?.......and what will this do to the islands up there like the Orkneys to name just one?

I sincerely hope you don't win tomorrow, but if you do I wish you luck with your new adventure and hope it doesn't all go wrong for you.

I think we can all agree that regardless of tomorrow's result, all on these isles want to see Scotland flourish. Same goal, different methods. Let's hope that whoever wins tomorrow can make progress towards that goal. Above all I pray that the Scots on both sides can put this referendum behind them and re-unite as a society, and resolve the substantial divisions that have understandably arisen.
