OT: Mafia game thread starts Sunday 8pm 14/9/14

Nozzer a votes have a vague connection too though the others seem more obvious to me.

 

So we're basically thinking one of Bodanki or Billy is mafia (but presumably not both)? That seems to be what the last few pages are saying. How are the votes looking?

 

Bodanki is 4-2 ahead of Billy at the moment.

 

I think if Bod is killed and is innocent then I think AFC may be regarded as less suspicious. (unless Billy is also innocent).

 

Bugger! Both IBWT and Bodanki have been reading this thread without posting their role or any comments.

 

Your voting just seems to tie in with my theory and your changed vote topped it off.

Can't protect from a conversion. A doctor can only apply medical assistance; ie save a life

also, no one claiming to be a cop doesn't ensure Sky is telling the truth. The cops could simply be scared to reveal themselves at this time. Of course, I could protect them and risk myself.

That latter bit concerns me. I thought a Mafia member would have claimed to be a cop in the hope that I would protect them leaving me open. Because this has not happened, it makes me think they already have their target...Sky!

 

Thanks. At the risk of making myself look suspicious, I'll switch to Billy for now then to make it 3-3 and see what happens. I may switch again later based on new events.

 

If you change to billy then they are tied at 3-3 again, as it stands it's 4-2.

That seems to be how it is but there is very little reasoning for it. Why not any of the others...?

Why? How does AFC / Bod know of each others potential innocence?

 

Nozzer has kept true to evening out the votes all game. Leaning towards innocent at the moment.

 

Sky claimed to have investigated HASH not Bod first night. And then Hash was killed... why? Why Hash? That's what makes me suspect Sky because it made no sense as Mafia to kill Hash instead of someone else (unless they were just going for random person they think doctor wouldn't protect). Unless they were trying to make Sky look innocent.

Sky investigated Bod 2nd night... and again... I agree- snitch would probably protect the Don.

Hash voted for me in the last round and strongly believed I was mafia, even in death.

By killing him the mafia made it really easy to point the finger at me, which happened straight away. When others didn't follow suit and billy ended up in danger, all of a sudden Bodanki got loads of votes.

I think the hash killing was a tactic to kill me!

 

Yes, my error. It was Bod the second night.

Or make him seem guilty because it made little sense?

I consider him innocent, but the other option is he is the don protected by the snitch

If he is innocent then people can then trust Sky and the astro-Bod-afc triangle collapses right?

If he is the protected don then it's a huge win and I am also cleared of the triangle?

So I am betting I am wrong about Bod's innocence but either way I clear myself and also the triangle so we get information

BUT if he is innocent do we then have enough left to win the game? If not then I prefer to vote for a more likely don candidate

The other problem is the only other person so far with votes is billy, who is voted for by bodanki and afcftw. I have a slight suspicion about billy but voting for him massively implies the triangle and if he isn't the don then the triangle is massively implicated (wrongly) and another innocent will die next round, probably myself.

 

I still suspect almost everyone! IF one of them is mafia, then killing one of the two of them should give us some gen on who else is guilty and innocent. Of course, it may be too late by then.
