OT: Mafia game thread starts Sunday 8pm 14/9/14

That all depends on Sky being the Cop. So far- no one has challenged his claim to cop. If we had two more people out themselves as cop then it would lend nicely with the theory that Sky is Mafia protecting Bod for this night (as I showed in my numbers- they can risk this because they only need to lynch an innocent tonight to have all but won the game).

If all the roles reveal themselves and Sky is one of only two people claiming to be cop then we have to trust him. In which case, it is still possible Bodanki was protected by the snitch (which would make him most likely the Don).


You and AFC's night one actions still stick out like a sore thumb to me though. No one link to Bod is completely incriminating (I had Sky and Gerrez linked but they're obviously not)- but there are so many, surely one of them has to be right!


I'm waiting to see who the cops (or at least the one other cop is) and what he found. Four investigations have happened by cops. Odds are we should have at least one known Mafia.

 

And to top it off your vote puts Bodanki firmly in the firing line and eases the pressure on billy.

 

Danillo, IBWT, and Minxy still haven't declared if they have a special role or not. Hoping to goodness they do and two out of three are cops- or I have to believe Sky. I don't want to believe Sky!

 

No-one else finding it suspicious that when billy was the front runner, very quickly Bodanki emerged from behind to become the lead candidate for death? With a vote changing over from billy to Bodanki putting billy in the relative clear...

 

OK, at the moment I am fine trusting Sky. For the snitch part, how could they have known Bodanki was a target for investigation? Was there any talk of that being a plan at the time? Otherwise it seems far more likely he is actually innocent rather than guilty and then the snitch happened to protect him.

Sky can you remind us why you picked Bodanki, was it random (little chance of snitch involvement) or was there a reasoning in the first place?

 

If Bodanki gets killed and ends up innocent- then, yes, you would have to consider that very suspicious. Especially since there are less singleton voters this time around.

 

Only Sky and I have revealed a role we have. Since the Mafia know I can't protect Sky tonight and I've already said I'll be protecting myself, I guess we will find out the truth about Sky come nightfall.

His death tells us Bod is innocent but not a great deal else.

His survival tells us Sky is probably Mafia (why would the Mafia leave a unprotected cop living?)

Of course, there could be a conversion. I have no power to prevent this happening.

 

If we decide to believe sky then surely those who are currently voting for Bodanki have to come under suspicion as it appears to be using an innocent to protect billy.

 

If Bod is the Don. (which would explain Mafia being so willing to do such crazy acts of desperation night one... assuming Bod triangle is correct) Then it makes sense that the snitch would protect their most important team member.

 

Maybe but what is also suspicious is your one man crusade to clear Bods name!

 

If Bodanki dies and is innocent then those who voted for him are clear mafia favourites. Don't think we need bod to die to realise that though.

And I think bod is more than likely innocent and there are other far better candidates to be up for the chop.

 

At the very least I want billy up on the chopping block next to him...

 

Sky claimed to have investigated Bod on the first night. With very little to go on, I would imagine the snitch would have been in a similar boat to me as doctor; I protected myself because that's the only innocent I knew. I would expect the snitch to cover the Don because he would have no clue who the cops would attack. I seriously doubt Bod is the Don, he's been far too active IMO.

 

So my vote takes the pressure off someone who has constantly played a lone role not siding with anyone in particular and puts a guy who has constantly pointed fingers and been saved by yourself last minute and been proclaimed innocent by a suspicious looking detective?? Sounds like a good move to me.

 

Much like those that voted for RHC/Me in the first round and Magic in the second? It means very little!

 

You'll notice they are the same people.

Lucaaaaas, milk, IBWT and billy. They voted for a mixture of the three main candidates in the first round, RHC, Bodanki or gerrez. All voted for magic in the second round except IBWT who kicked off the voting for Astro who looked to be the easy target for the chop and second runner for much of the day.

Now they are voting for Bodanki. (But started the day going for me thinking I'd be the easiest one to g votes for after they had hash killed)

Definitely some sort of connections between the votes.

 

If we don't get two more people saying that they are cops... then yes, that means Sky is most likely innocent. It doesn't mean Bod is... but I think we would have to re-evaluate who is Mafia.

You and Astro are definitely being Bod's most ardent supporters. That should be noted upon Bod's death. Innocent or Guilty- it might help protect or crucify you.
All actions that have happened so far support an Astro, Bod, AFC, Skylarker four-sided triangle. That doesn't mean you are all in it together... but all actions so far support it. Skylarker might have been fooled by a snitch though.

Just because actions support that being the Mafia team does not mean it IS the Mafia team though.




Regarding who Mafia might convert (or kill) tonight if we miss the Don.

Gerrez would be a target- although he will probably protect himself. We all know (assuming no one else claims to be doctor) 100% that Gerrez is innocent today. So makes sense to convert him.

Sky - IF Sky is innocent he would make a good target.


They could surprise us and go with someone who has been below the radar all this time... or the second cop if revealed.


I'm willing to listen to any other theories.

 

I see what you mean now about being active in the thread making you a prime suspect I only started posting this afternoon and I'm already being blamed for everything by AFCFTW
