We'll now be presented with some dopey rhetoric about how Moyes was to blame for Kagawa's shortcomings in the premier league. I'm fairly certain he's fishing with his Courtois analysis though. Has to be.
That's why there is a difference between managers/scouts, and wummy mancs. One can spot class talent, the other doesn't know his arse from his elbow.
Cesc is a creative attacking midfielder mate. As long as he keeps feeding Diego he can fail to defend all he wants.
Cesc the leading assist maker in the league is being criticised because he's not brilliant at defending. You couldn't write it, no wait, apparently you can write it (but you have to have had a lot of drink first) !! Coming from someone who defends Herrera's frankly embarrassing goal scoring record cos he make a nice looking pass occasionally. Best midfielder in La Liga last year, yet can't get a cap for Spain. Weird.
Falcao and RVP are both a lot better than Sturridge regardless of your explanation as to why Sturridge should be ahead of them. Both had injury hit seasons last year, which doesn't make them bad players. RVP still scored a few when he played though. Sturridge if he was at Man Utd would have been surplus to requirements just like Danny Welbeck has been. Mata is a lot better than Rooney in the number 10 role. Rooney isn't a quality number 10. His best position is striker, though even he'd struggle to get in the team as a striker. Carrick, Gerrard and Blind are all better than Henderson. Henderson isn't a quality player. The only Liverpool players that probably get in the team are Sterling and a couple of defenders maybe. But that's about it
I'll agree with the striker assessment. If fit you'd have to put Falcao or RVP and arguably Rooney too above Sturridge. Henderson though has been very good for 18 months now and would be ahead of all those you mentioned. Carrick FFS. It isn't 2011 anymore! 4th choice Blind still has a lot to prove coming from such a piss weak league.
Now Chelsea are actually playing good football, there has to be something else to criticise. So rather than applaud Fabregas on breaking the record of assists in 6 consecutive games, people will criticise his lack of defensive prowess . The over-rating of Herrera doesn't surprise me when you consider how much they love Carrick.
You mean incredibly successful linchpin of tge leagues mosr successful side carrick? Yeh we love him. Herrera is class though. Its clear those who rate cesc higher habe only ever seen cesc at arsenal and chelsea. Pretty equal playera as midfielders. Cesc is a better am, herrera a better cm and dm. Both can play in dm, am and cm.
Yep him. The one rated higher than Lampard and Gerrard by a good percentage of your fan base. That Carrick. Rest is fishing. I know you're not that stupid UIR.
Herrera 25 years old and achieved absolutely nothing so far. When was the last time a club paid over 30 million for an uncapped player. Literally can't think of anyone else. If Herrera is better than Cesc, how come he doesn't get in the Spanish side. Or is their manager another person who apparently knows less than you!! I'd be careful, you're straying dangerously close to being Matth mark ii with this biased delusion
Carrick so good yet regularly over looked by every England manager. Weird. In fact Hodgson took an ageing Lampard who had been on the periphery of the Chelsea team ahead of him to the WC.
Isco, Mata, Silva, Koke, Fabregas are all Spanish midfielders capped when not playing for them 2 clubs.
Thats because England have not had a good England manager since terry venables. How sven goran eriksson didnt get to at least a semi final with that England team from 2002-2006 i dont know and the two English managers since are crap to with Capello not much better.
Thats because the clusterfuckers were more interested in themselves while carrick cleaned up quietly.
Now while not impossible, its not uncommon for a basque player to be omitted. Plus herrera plays for spain. Take a look at their midfiels thw past 5 or so years.
If he was as good as you and others make out he'd be around the squad. Pretty much proves fabregas is and has been the superior player by some distance. Genuine question though, is he the most expensive uncapped player ever??
