    EDIT: Just seen QPR story has already been posted.

    Would set quite a precedent and send out a really strong warning.

    I think I'd rather see a change in the rule that takes away all the grey areas that lead to contentious decisions. The main problem IMO is the fact that linesmen simply can't be in two places at once, and have a near impossible job in trying to assess where a player was in relation to when the ball was kicked.

    Slightly off topic, but what did people think of the reaction of two Swiss players when Cahill made that superb sliding intervention to stop a certain goal. The two tried to badger the ref into giving a penalty for handball - I would have thought players of international class would know what constitutes handball...

    They do. They just want to cheat their way to a penalty. Just like players of Premiership class all the way down to Tier 9 clubs (and beyond).

    Very sad really.

    Last Saturday Oxford City lost 8-1 at home to Fylde. This evening they won 7-2 away to Boston Utd. Boston were above Fylde in the Conference North going into this evenings game.

    Is there any truth in the rumour that Wenger tried to sign Ebola - thinking he was the new big striker from Africe

    "Cargiant managing director Tony Mendes is a QPR season-ticket holder." Ouch <laugh>. Not sure why he comes in for any criticism to be honest. Why should anyone ell their land to anyone else if they don't want to? If the shoe was on the other foot and Cargiant wanted to turn Loftus Road into a car dealership the moaning would be heard in Timbuktu

    Clubs always seem to be relying on other businesses to help them out...be it supermarkets or these guys when it comes to a new ground.

    Probably worried about not being paid for the sale!

    I guess still slightly Watford related;

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29232701

    How would this affect us? I'm guessing only Parades and Gomes as all other playes have EU Nationality...

    Another rule for the Prem and another for the rest of us (for the time being)

    It would be interesting how they view Brett Pitman at Bournemouth and Peter Vincenti at Rochdale. They are both from Jersey, which is outside the EU, but the Jersey FA is a county FA within the Engllsh FA.

    Kev, after tomorrow, Anya may have to be added to that list...

    I considered that, but then would assume he'd be entitled to a EU passport through his Romanian parent... and think he would technically be 'home grown' anyway from his time at Wycombe/Oxford

    Not if he opts for a British passport.

    What about Odion Ighalo?
