don't know what you mean. personally i think the falcao loan was unneeded as you've got rvp and rooney, both are proven in the PL and can score 20+.
Courtois and De Gea is a close call, so I won't argue with that one. Though I'd personally prefer De Gea. Herrara isn't better than Fabregas yet, but he's a lot better than Oscar who gets in your midfield. Falcao is better than Costa, that really shouldn't be up for debate. Costa always played 2nd fiddle to Falcao when at Atletico. Don't be blinkered by Costas recent purple patch of tap ins, against weak opposition. Shaw was voted the number 1 left back in the PL last season, so is regarded by most as superior to Azpilicueta, and the lads still only a teenager. Chelsea even tried to sign him themselves. Mourinho made Rooney his number 1 transfer target last summer, so he obviously would get in your side. As Mourinho rates him highly
Courtois was seen by most of Europe as being behind only Neuer as best goalkeeper in Europe. You're deluded if you think De Gea is in the same class. Herrara I haven't seen enough of but Oscar plays 10, Herrara plays centre mid. Do you even watch football? As above, most have said Rooney/Mata could get in our side at 10 (as long as we're playing Fabregas further back at least). Falcao was better than Costa 2 years ago. Then Costa ripped up La Liga whilst Falcao went to a weak French league playing pub teams most weeks and has had a massive injury. He has barely kicked a ball in the P.L whilst Costa has smashed it in his first month and by far player of the season so far. History may tell a different story but for now, Costa is THE marksman in the league. Shaw is another over rated Englishman. He may well be amazing in future but only got in that team as he was young and English. Azpi was frankly amazing last season, even more so considering it's his 'weak' side. Also performed at the highest level in the Champiosn League which Shaw hasn't even played in. Take potential out of the way and it Azpi hands down. In fact we have 2 left backs better than you Rooney was a target when we needed a striker, which we now don't. Do try and keep up
Love how you've also said Herrera isn't better than Fabregas 'yet' . They're a million miles apart. Oscar is currently better than Herrera aswell. Falcao at his best is better than Costa, no doubt about it. However saying he always played second fiddle is you talking utter s**t yet again. Costa was never first choice striker, but he was a first team regular in the year they spent at Atleti together playing alongside or around Falcao. As for calling his form a 'purple patch of tap ins', strange comment for someone who was a massive fan of Van Nistelrooy. He also has not been at his best for over a year, whereas Costa has. The fact you've said Shaw is better than Azpillicueta just sums up what a clueless bell end you actually are. Shaw is currently nowhere near the level of Azpillicueta or Filipe Luis. Being in the team of the year does not make you better than somebody, otherwise you think Lallana is better than Silva and Sturridge is better than RVP, Rooney and Aguero.
This idea is contrived rubbish but I'll bite anyway... combining a Liverpool - United side at the moment... -------------------De Gea Manquillo---Lovren------Rojo---Moreno ----------Henderson---Herrera -----------------Rooney ---Di Maria---Sturridge----Sterling Falcao needs a run of games to show he's recovered. Otherwise he'd be in. To be honest that side isn't a big improvement on each sides' own XI. Both weak at the back and lack steel in midfield. Both suffer from Rooney being arguably the best player but a player who doesn't have a clear position anymore. Sterling should be in the middle but just like for England would suffer Rooney's reputation. In reality it's a toss up between Allen and Herrera right now too. Very similar players and Allen has been in good form recently. But the thought of the backlash tires me. You've signed the Spanish Joe Allen, not the next Iniesta. The right back is a bit up in the air because Rafael has barely played and Manquillo looks decent. Maybe Flanagan would be in if fit. Rojo and Sakho both had good world cups but tempted to think Rojo is more assured. oh dear!
Fabregas really isn't that brilliant a player, he's a very good player, but he's not a world beater, hence why he couldn't hold down a place at Barcelona. With an ageing Xavi and Iniesta as competition. Herrara easily has the potential to get to his level. Oscar he is probably the worst player in your midfield, a truly average foitballer. Not in the same class as Herrara. The reason I say Costa played 2nd fiddle to Falcao is simply because he did. Falcao was the main man and the rest of the team was built around him. Costa played the Heskey role, the guy who does all the donkey work. Shaw is better than both Luis and Azpilicueta, this is why Chelsea tried to sign him before they bothered with Luis. As a teenager he had a better season than Azpilicueta who's in his prime last year. Says it all really!
Saying 'second fiddle' conveys a point of view that he was a bench warmer. I was really trying to mute your point that he was having a purple patch of tap ins, which like the rest of your posting history is total nonsense. Comparing him to Heskey is, I think, worse than you comparing Oscar to Crouch a while back. As for the rest of this post, it really is beyond comprehension how much of a f**wit you are.
Clearly you are wumming but i'll bite anyway.... I think you'll find Fabregas played plenty of times for Barcelona and his early season form just goes to show what mugs they are for letting him leave. The fact that Real and Barca always try and buy the best Spanish talent but couldn't care less about Herrera goes to show his standing. He may be a world beater one day but he's nowehere near Fabregas at the moment. What world do you live in?!!? You hate Oscar, we get it. But they play different positions so the point is irrelevant. However Oscar has achieved a lot more than Herrera both internationally and for his club and is younger. If one isn't in the other's class it's clear what way round it is!! Chelsea enquired about Shaw but he was too expensive for an unproven kid. If you think Shaw is currently the better left back than the guy who played in the champions league final and won la liga last year you really need to watch a different sport. Shaw would have been useful for our English quota but not enough to pay silly money when we already had the best left back in the league last year. In summary, stop confusing where players currently are to what you think they may become.
No it doesn't portray a view that he was a bench warmer, it could mean any number of things. I'm not comparing him to Heskey, I'm just saying he was sacrificed to play that type of role for Atletico, with Falcao being deployed as the main man. As far as the Peter Crouch and Oscar comparisons go they where pretty comparable players in terms of how productive they where last season. Oscar 8 goals, Crouch 7. Crouch 5 assists Oscar only 4. It just goes to show how **** Oscar is when Crouch had more assist than him, and Oscar was playing as a number 10 for a much stronger side. No wonder Mourinho dropped him for a lot of games towards the end of the season, as the kid is clearly very very average
If you want to talk about stats, what about Herrera getting a whole 11 goals in 128 appearances for his club side and yet to win a senior cap for his country. Yeah he's in the same league as Fabregas and Oscar.
