Ellis has already had 2 attempts and he's only been on the pitch for 3 minutes. Go on my son!

Under 5k there tonight - it's been a while since we've had an attendance that low.

Mind you, Nuneaton on a Tuesday night? It's not a gold standard fixture.

That's it. 3-1 and three very nice points, thank you very much.

Well done DC and the lads - we're finally putting some form together and beating teams convincingly that we should be beating convincingly.

    UTG!

    17 shots, 6 on target.

We had some games last season where we'd got 4 shots and none on target, so the signs are that our attacking potential is finally being realised.

Weird that. They can tell us that there's been a corner on the text commentary, but they seem unable to record it.

very good entertaining game. and also another good performance by the ref. shocked. we get 2 good refs on the bounce. dont think thats ever happened in any league. its good when the ref doesnt want to be centre of attention but instead lets the game flow and not the sound of his whistle.

should have easily been 4 or 5 up by half time. nearly got punished when they got their goal but we didnt allow our heads to drop and looked like getting another 3 or 4 goals.

it was a good game, we played with a lot of pace and urgency and never looked like wanting to sit back and played like we wanted to attack all night. very impressed.

however this was against nuneaton who have no manager. so lets not get ahead of ourselves and just take 1 game at a time. up next is woking who are 3rd and tonight just lost their 1st game of the season! saturday will be a tough game!

apart from not scoring 5 (which we should have done) and not scoring 2 within the 1st 15 mins (which we should have done), i was spot on. i hope we start in 5th gear at home and dont sit back for all home games.
