I watched the Dippers and they were lucky to get the win, absolute howler by the opposition keeper for the penalty. The other team were technically superior to Liverpool and played some very sharp counter attacking football. Says a lot for the quality of the EPL.
Yeah all credit to them, also an absolute howler by our keeper for their equaliser though, the end result backs up the stats that we were worthy of the win, sorry to spoil your night Shteve.
I didn't watch the dippers, as watching there games and there inbred looking fans singing that song makes me cringe. It seems they got out of jail with the usual goal from the Liverpool spot. Instead I watched the Dortmund v Arsenal game which was a great game to watch, as Dortmund really smashed Arsenal for most of the game. Welbeck had 3 decent chances, and he duffed 2 of them and hit the 3rd one with his 7 iron. So glad we got 16 million for that cart horse
With respect, you pointing at the stats hasn't ruined my night at all! I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed when the keeper conceded the penalty but that doesn't change the fact that Liverpool looked poor this evening. You may be able to take comfort in the stats but the reality is the performance this evening only confirmed what the league performances had already suggested about the quality of Liverpool's squad this season. But you have your stats to prove that I'm wrong!
Same as you Shergar, no way would I watch the YSB's. According to all the reports, the Bulgarians had a clear cut penalty turned down, and the last minute penalty for the dippers was to say the least, rather generous. Or maybe the BBC and Sky are telling lies? Either way, nothing changes with Stevieme and the gang getting all the dodgy decisions in their favour
