they have won every 50/50 tackle .

We just let em have the ball as much as they want .

Dont take a genius to see where that will end up.

Unfortunately we dont have a genius coach .

Nothing has changed from last year... or the year before... or the year before.

    Progress? Nowhere to be seen.

We should be playing like Dortmund. We have better individual players than them. AW either doesn't realise that his choice of football isn't all that good or doesn't know how to set a team up to play more effective football. Either answer ends up with the same conclusion. AW is not a man to get us to the big trophies. But we said that last year.

The same stuff has been written for ages now... Arsenal should have long been scouting out a new manager.

Arteta has been basically playing as their 12th man .

want possession ? ......no problem , he will give you the ball upon request.

Merts is like a barge .

ball watching is the new Arsenal way.

    Where is Roz ,?
    Where is the OX ?

Where is the Pod for some pace and threat ?

    no where

The writing was on the wall, we needed a defensive midfielder, even Wenger's most ardent supporters can't defend him now. No excuses.

Every corner and throw in we have in the final third turns into a scoring opportunity for the other team...

Koscielny had looked solid up until he got beaten at the end of the half. Dortmund came out hard and it was scrappy at times but they where on the front foot for the vast majority of that half with us struggling to keep the ball well enough under pressure.

Sanchez is losing the ball far too much. He needs to give it away quicker with the fast pressing Dortmund are doing.

Arteta is going to go into the book.

We need to improve a lot in the second half to take anything from this game. Given that it's away against our most difficult opposition of the group I'd take a draw as that keeps us in a good position to top the group but a loss isn't good enough.

We can get a draw if we get our heads out of our asses and actually put an effort, they're not doing anything.

Worth noting every time ozil gets on the ball they surround him. One of our other players needs to use the space it opens up.

Oh but they will. Expect to be told that Dortmund are a top European team and most teams would have lost there and it will be different at the Emirates and it's because of injuries.

It could all still change in the second half. The problem is, Wenger is the problem. He sets up the same way for EVERY game against EVERY team irrespective of who or what or where or when they are. That doesn't work against good teams. Look at Chelsea - they win because Mourinho is a fantastic tactician. Look at Fergie - he was the same. Wenger thinks tactics are fantastic because they keep your breath fresh for 2 hours and they're only 2 calories.

Pure crap. We are just not clicking in attack. The space has been there to counter them, but our players are not even controlling the ball properly.

They had better chance than the goal to be honest, but one of kos or gibbs needed to challenge earlier and the other set up to cover him...

The way they approached him one dribble was always going to beat both of them... In the end a "miss-dribble" did.

Any team can lose at Dortmund, but not with pathetic goals like that. You just can't play like this in Europe and expect to go anywhere..

    Poor first half.

Wilshere has been our most useful player.

    Arteta doesn't look fit.

Simply not good enough in the first half and the goal was a shocker to give away, they cut through us like butter.

Need a huge improvement in the 2nd half if we're going to get anything out of this game.

I'd consider taking off Arteta and going for a wilshere Ramsey midfield two, and bring rosicky on.

Even at his best, Arteta is simply not good enough against quality teams like Dortmund. We all knew that in the summer, expect one man.

Or get Cazorla on the pitch, he's good at maintaining possession.
