Aberdeen have re-signed midfielder Chris Clark following the player's release from Plymouth Argyle. The Dons beat off competition from Kilmarnock, who had been expected to secure the player in the summer transfer window. Clark, who left Aberdeen in January 2008, couldn't help the Pilgrims escape relegation to League One last season. The 30-year-old made 107 appearances for the Devon club, scoring twice. Maybe time has dulled the senses but i seem to remember chris being fairly solid on the wings and central mid field, not a bad signing i think
good signing in general in my opinion, its exactly what aberdeen need. Solid players in the middle of the park and if i remember correctly wasn't prone to too many clangers.
Thats what i can remember about the boy but my memory is suspect, but yeah reasonably happy i trust craig brown to get it sorted out.
Good luck to him, he done well for us. can play any were, not the most skilful or very quick but gives his all. Good luck in the season ahead.
That's more or less what I remember about him. I feel pretty okay with this signing, whilst remaining deep in prayer that Craig Brown may cohere a team from the rabble of players he inherited. The more new signings the better, as far as I'm concerned, because the squad he took over gave every impression of simply not caring anymore. (Okay, there were a few exceptions, I exaggerate - but still.)
Time will tell i suppose but im quietly optomistic about Brown, im sure he will come good. He is renowned for his man management skills and someone like that wont take anything less than 100% from his players which is what aberdeen desperately need, free transfer of messi would also be good but im not holding my breath
