Some fans say that we pay good wages and paid a lot of money for our two main strikers that they both should play.....I totally disagree with that statement because a good striker on the bench is needed and you don't see top teams playing all their high price players and they have far more expensive players sitting on the bench than what we have. 4-4-2 has finished in the modern game and it definitely don't fit into our style of play...
If as you stated 'the fact remains that our strikers are our strength this season' I would expect them to have scored more or at least a greater percentage. If Bony has ' nothing to do and comes back to defend' he's hardly being our strength (other than in defence) which I agreed with. I'd say, 'the fact remains that our strikers should be our strength this season.'
I remember that game, was sitting in Bali airport and getting score updates, wasn't it 4-1 or something at one stage
Strength in numbers , give Bony some help I say .A couple of healty balls kicked up field and Bony and Gomis will be menacing. If they 're menacing enough , the opposition midfied will fall back and then we can pass it out .
