OT: Mafia game thread starts Sunday 8pm 14/9/14

OK... I've done it for other candidates, I'll do it for myself. (as it is important just in case I don't have a voice tomorrow).

If I'm guilty what does it tell the town... probably not much other than Minxy thinks Sky and Gerrez are teamed up with me- which doesn't necessarily imply their guilt.

If I'm innocent what does it tell the town... Minxy and AFC were both trying to drum up support for someone other than Magic. If I am killed and I am an innocent- I think that that would imply a very high chance of Minxy and AFC both being guilty... especially if Magic is also found to be guilty later. Minxy has been holding on to her vote to look for someone to pin it on. AFC has gone along with her.


If I die, look at those who are trying to take the pressure off Magic. If I die, Minxy isn't necessarily Mafia- but should be considered a major candidate.


Also... all the late voters should be candidates for investigation tonight (not lynch candidates unless found out to be mafia).

 

I think everyone still deserves a second look My reasonings are clear enough (as is my conscience) and it's Magic and Sky for me just for admitting they "have a role". Makes no sense unless they:

a) are Mafia and are trying to fool everyone, in which case we want them outed
b) do have roles, in which case they surely wouldn't both have admitted to it (not a thing the mafia would miss surely)
c) are just trying to protect their own sorry arses (in which case they deserve to be lynched anyway)

 

I'd like to keep the pressure on magic. But I think one of you or Bodanki are more likely to be mafia than Astro is, so I'd rather have a different second runner.

In fairness my reasonings are clear and as stated I haven't voted yet because I can't decide between Sky and Magic I'm leaning towards Magic but mainly because he's already in a precarious position.

Anyway I'm off the match soon so you'll all find out soon enough

 

Personally I think it's more likely to be Bodanki than you milk, but no-one seems to be rolling with the Bodanki idea.

I'm basing my assumptions on Magic's guilt. If Magic is the Don- I think town wins- we've got several "Highly suspected Innocents" under such a scenario, the Don gone, and a couple of leads for who is guilty.

If Magic is innocent we have to go back to the drawing board and it's very much advantage Mafia.

If someone other than Magic wins tonights vote- then whoever cast late votes to change that is going to be highly suspicious- especially if an innocent dies instead.


The only losing scenario for the town tonight is Magic being innocent.

 

I may be willing to go Bodanki but not without further support.

 

I'm sticking with Bodanki, I think I made a mistake saving him in the first round. So I'm sticking with my gut this time.

 

sooooo... i suppose i will be f'n busy again tonight... i didn't consider the fact there is a bleedn match on tonight! I should have said 7pm deadline shouldn't i.. take note for next mafia game guys.

If Magic is innocent it tells us he was innocent. IMO there will always be doubt over him. You are right it could be a day wasted but better than multiple days of wasted doubt. His own non-playing has done this and there needs to be a rule against it. Maybe the fairest thing is (next game) not-voting counts as 2 votes for yourself (attempted suicide due to the stress of the situation) so people will not wait so long?

Seriously though- he ranks as a "medium" on my scale- not a high target or a low target for suspicion.

 

It is also theoretically possible that Mafia didn't convert anyone for "strategic" reasons last night and so going after Magic has been a big blunder on our part. I'm hoping that isn't the case.

 

we'll take a look at it. anyone can miss a day... in the games i researched they took weeks and were poking peopel to get activity and they'd be replaced from reserve list. we don't have a reserve sheet.

bear in mind for others. (i don't know anything about magic) work happens and people can go quiet. we did commit to a 8pm finish time so it is hard to play all day.

If you're a townsperson (or doc etc) you'd be wanting a vote surely. Especially as vote was tied last night, it seems unfair that an innocent man could have (potentially) been saved. It's Magic for me for all the reasons previously given. Even if he's innocent his non-vote last night skewed the result.

 

So it looks like magic is for the chop. No-one has tried to save him yet... That makes me worry he is innocent.

But I agree that if he is innocent then he came across as guilty anyway through inactivity.
