OT: Mafia game thread starts Sunday 8pm 14/9/14

i am playing the gamesmaster role very seriously.... will not comment on any laughing or otherise. i think yeah i would perfer to be in there confusing you lot even more but being on the outside and seeing the reasoning is interesting

 

So nozzer, would you be up for changing your vote, if we have the numbers, to put one of milk or bod alongside magic?

 

The plus sign against someone's name means you're friends with them I believe.

 

Minxy is also suspicious of both...

 

Possibly, although I still have Astro down as suspicious. Why are you so keen on saving him now? And if I go Bodanki, are you just going to change at the least minute again? Why should I trust you?

 

I'm not convinced of his innocence... although if vote stays like it is today- with Astro such a close second- and other options being discussed- if Magic ends up being the Don then that should clear (lucaas,milk,gerrez,astro). If Magic is innocent it doesn't clear anyone.

AFC seems anxious to pick someone else... but he hasn't gone with the obvious choice of "Astro" if protecting Magic- if he ends up picking Astro, then that would be suspicious as it would appear to be anxious to save Magic (unless Magic ends up innocent).

 

Unless we have late shenanigans again- as it stands, it is unlikely both Astro and Magic are both Mafia- if they were then a serious third candidate would have emerged by now and Astro wouldn't be voting for Magic. Barring people changing votes- either Astro or Magic are likely innocent.

 

He has stuck by his first round strategy and defended it in his "your stupid for not realising I'm right" kind of way. And I just don't think he is faking it. He seems genuine despite his last minute vote. If he is mafia, he isn't the don and would have had to decide right at the start that he wanted to die in round two, he was far too obviously going to be the main choice to die. So I'm willing to go with him being innocent until anything new comes to light.

I think it will be a waste to have him up for the chop. There are obvious reasons for the suspicion on magic but alongside him we should be putting someone who could make people move there votes around or give something away late on. With Astro people seem to have made up there minds and if he was mafia by now they will see him as expendable.

 

Whoever you pick- make sure that his death "TELLS" you something. For example. Magic's death if guilty- would almost certainly mean those voting for him currently are innocent (especially if he is the Don). It would put suspicion on anyone who is trying to change the vote late on.

If Magic is innocent- then it is probably a day wasted. (this worries me a little). Although if Magic is innocent and Astro later turns out to be guilty- you should consider all those voting Magic as suspicious.


Whoever you pick- explain what their death will help clear up for the town.

 

Also... if Magic ends up guilty- I think it will look suspicious on all those that haven't voted yet. Are you waiting for an alternative choice to Magic... why are you leaving it so late?

I don't think that's necessarily true. I suspect Magic for a few reasons...not even voting first day, very quiet again today, saving his vote until late (or not voting at all for fear of giving something away) and most of all for the claim he has "a role". Plus he's obviously a perv too

Even if Astro is The Don at least he's polite enough to explain his voting reasons quite clearly

 

No. Magic's innocence does not mean those voting for him are guilty- but I think it means they would deserve a second look.

 

I haven't seen your comments on other topics so I couldn't even for a moment suggest to know what goes on in your mind dear I was merely drawing attention to the fact that other people had noted suspicion of the same two people I was suggesting.

To help the town- can you give a reason? Earlier you said it was because Sky and Gerrez voted for me then changed their mind. Is this still your reason?
