I find this a bit of a daft statement as most of the clubs that may struggle this season would have most of your squad in their team above that and maybe 5 or 6 and that's maybe and above that again in lets say the top 6 teams maybe only 1 or 2.
Not only is it daft but he goes on about this so called 'myth' but then the thread is a reaction to United buying a load more players before the end of the window thus negating the whole point entirely. If people were saying few United players would have made Arsenal's first team, then United spend 150 million on players, obviously that will change the complexion of the so called myth. Basically this is just another thread for Matth to allude to the signings United have made. Thankfully this has not already been covered in the other 87 threads started by him on this subject. United had average squad, spent 150 million, now have better squad shocker!!
There are always grey areas with debates like this but I try and view it as what United players would slip into the Arsenal first 11 in their system and improve it. De Gea, Di Maria wide, Rooney at 10 and a striker. Beyond that it's up for debate.

Mata, falcao? an Arsenal with rvp would be significantly better than it is now. Infact when 4th choice united striker becomes 1st choice arsenal striker, it tells you something...
It can have it's bad days but generally their defenders are good. Jones is nowhere near Koscielny or Mertesacker. He did say Rooney at 10 (where Mata would play) and a striker.
Mata is a better number 10 than rooney so.... And falcao and rvp are better strikers than rooney.... Merts dire drogs. Not my view. The goons told me. Some Arsenal fans has said he has been poor recently along with Ozil and Ramsey, Wilshere has one good Game against Citys 2nd choice midfield and all of a sudden he is world class again
Its hard to tell one minute from the next. Hes either great or he should be shot. No middle ground. Same with all your players and wenger. Just a few weeks ago Wilshere was awful. Has a goodmgame and suddenly he might just be great again. Wengers rating amongst goons has been like a rollercoaster these first 4 games. But yes, mert was called poor by some on your board. Mata or Rooney is a flip of the coin for me. Mata is more likely to play 10 at United cos he is bang average anywhere else where's Rooney can play a variety of positions. But I'm happy with your view. Mata in, Rooney out. One from Falcao and RVP as I originally said and we're still back to 4 guaranteed players. You can't just have Jones based on what you think he will do if given a run. At this time he has not fulfilled his high billing and is not as established as the centre halves at Arsenal (who I don't overly rate either). So you can have De Gea, Mata, Di Maria, and one of your strikers.
Who is there right back? Sagna is gone (always rated rafael higher myself). And jones isnt based on right now. Thats my opinion ofntye goons defence. Theres too as i said. Had we not moved quickly then he may well have been at arsenal today. Probably in the first team.... Which brings me to the other defensive target we beat the goons too....
