Last nights fiasco left an unpleasant taste initially but having thought about it i'm actually GLAD the boos came, we always knew these 'he can do wor he wants' types were present, the foul stench was always lingering amongst us so it's great to finally get it all out in the open, it's like a breath of fresh air, the rats have finally been flushed out of the sewers.

I take no pride in admitting that i've always thought we have an utterly woeful fan base overall, the support at home games is virtually non exsisant, the team were booed off the pitch against Bristol City as we marched to promotion in 2012, we couldn't even sell out an FA Cup semi final. All things considered i've got no qualms about going to war with any of the silent spectators, they can boo every match from now on, I DON'T CARE, i've never liked them and i never will.

We've also got some of the most loyal and passionate fans in the country and i'll continue standing side by side with them supporting Hull City AFC as i always have done.

The name will NEVER be changed, Assem Allam will be an unpleasant and distant memory in a few years and the silent minority will continue to spectate in complete silence. Nothing changes.

I'm not wasting anymore time on this charade.

    CTID (bring on the boos)

Nah. We aren't as bad as them and can actually voice an opinion without distracting our fantastic squad of players and manager. If they want to boo, let them, but don't let ourselves be brought down to their level.

At the end of the day, what they're doing is wrong. Basically telling us we can't voice our opinion. Last time I checked, protesting was perfectly legal and in the Human Rights, we have the right of free speech.

If they're happy with turning atmosphere sour and potentially de-railing what looks as though it could be one of our best ever Seasons, again, let them do it. The media will eventually catch on and they'll be the ones in the wrong.

You are supposed to be supporting Hull City AFC not wagering your own vendetta against people that have a difference of opinion to yourself. Pull yourselves together and get behind the squad instead of running round like some over zealous Hilter Youth type Brown Shirts of the late 30's.

Whatever happened to freedom of speech and thought these are principle that are ours by right and not there to be taken away by someone who doesn't like what the outcome may be from the others thoughts and speech.

This argument between the supporters is really getting tiresome now and if this season goes tits up then you will only have yourselves to blame for showing your dissent when you should be behind the team that are on the pitch representing our great City.

And you exercise it by changing your username every couple of months.

They are exercising their rights by booing your protest. Seems pretty even to me.

Wrong. One man to blame for the split between fans.

Changing my username every couple of months is me excising my human rights is it? Does it offend you? I'm sorry.

By the way, I was Candy Man from February 2013 - September 2014. If thats a couple of months, then Christ I'm old.

You honestly think that booing your own fans is justifiable? We're all for this supposed silent majority showing their support. A chant, a banner, whatever. Booing your own fans? Unthinkable.

You're damn right on that. And people exercised that right last night.
Instead of getting into this ridiculous pissing contest, why not unite for the team. The CTID at 1904 is seen as a protest against something that isn't going to happen and is pissing of our owner and section of our fans. Why not change it to somwthing less inflamatory that everyone can get behind?

Everyone has always sung City Till I Die? It's been a chant at City for years. Why can't anyone get behind that? Nobody complained about it 2 years ago.

    Doesn't offend me at all.

Just wondered if it felt ever so slightly hypocritical.

By the way, according to this site you didn't become Candy Man until Feb 2013 - Amber Magic.

Is the site wrong? Or are you old?

Maybe you are senile and it was a lie? That's what people say when AA gets something wrong.

Odd isn't it how things look so different from a different perspective.

I still don't understand how changing my username has anything to do with voicing opinion? <laugh>

    And, check your quotation pal.

Ive been singing it for years, but singing it at 1904 was specifically to protest at the name change. Changing the song at 1904 would show that the fans have moved on. We don't need to protest anymore.

Not singing at 19:04 would show things have moved on, but I get your point. I think it was beginning to tone down a bit, but then came that press conference. Reunites the flame in a sense.

I think the boo boys are more like the brown shirt Hitler Youth on behalf of Adolf Allam trying to drown out any voices of dissent

Did I manage to edit it on your actual post too? The first post was a guess, then I checked and re-edited it.
