OT: Mafia game thread starts Sunday 8pm 14/9/14

But that puts me voting the same way as Bodanki!

I feel like sky is pulling the wool over our eyes... I may change to Astro so that we have two on four votes though..

 

What wolves? If you hadn't changed vote Bodanki only had a 33% chance of dying anyway. How could you be SO CONVINCED of his innocence that him facing a 33% chance of dying seemed like a tragedy to you?

Also, trying to convince me to vote Astro means magic may be off the hook. If Astro then turns out to be innocent, that puts Bodanki, nozzer, IBWT and me (if I change my vote) in the firing line!

Early on I felt there may be a connection between nozzer and Bodanki and I'd feel better if I didn't end up thrown in with them in the case of Astro being innocent!

 

Different approach... who is the Don?

We know the Don did not post a conversion or kill last night- so assuming they weren't just "saving" that move (which is possible I suppose)

Me, Gerrez, Lucaaas, IBWT - all of us were heavily involved in last game and saw what happened when Don didn't use powers last game before being caught.

Sky, Nozzer, Hash, Astro, Danilo - same as above- all 4 witnessed the last game... but Astro was killed off early- not sure he followed it afterwards. Nozzer was an observer. Sky, Hash, and Dan have all been kinda quiet and suppose could have forgot to send in request.

These are the 5 people that are perhaps newer and more likely to get confused or not know about sending in request. I'd suspect our Don is one of those 5.

 

Stop with your 33% nonsense. When i made my vote it wasn't a 33% chance of him dieting. It was 50/50 and I felt that Bodanki was innocent and RHC was probably guilty. So I figured my vote raised suspicion of sky but also maximised the chances of killing someone I thought was mafia and saving someone I thought was a towns person.

 

FFS so based on the fact that either Bodanki is the don or Magic is the don you are going to vote for me

Anyway I think next game there has to be some kind of rule set up about people who don't turn up and vote because if Magic is innocent he's still ****ing things

My eagerness to be involved in the game was evident from the start and my vote changed on day one for self preservation at one point to make sure I stayed in the game. If I could whack someone, or investigate them etc... I would of done it as soon as I could.

 

No it was 33%, and if you now say you thought it was 50-50 then you changing vote would have guranteed killing RHC but you already said many times you didn't want to guarantee it

I think me and Astro are the obvious choices to vote for because of our suspicious votes, but also highly unlikely to be the mafia don because of our actions.

Therefor is it worth looking at who has stuck with there votes for the two of us? Bodanki and nozzer for Astro and IBWT and Hash for me...

Possible mafia move to keep the pressure on the two obvious ones, knowing neither are mafia? No-one is going to question why they voted for us so they can vote without worrying about being uncovered.

 

Hold on I have an idea.

We have 2 investigators right. They have 1 snitch meaning they can't cover 2 people. If we all agree to keep bod Astro and afc and agree on 2 to investigate then well definitely find out at least 1 of them is a townie and if 1 of then is, it's pretty safe to say the others are as well. Rather than potentially kill off 1 of our own again tonight, why not investigate those under most suspicion. Get 1 and we get them all I think?

If one of the investigators claims who he is going to pick then it means the other can remain snonymous but we know they both won't pick the same person? Smith has a 1 in 3 chance of getting the right person then meaning odds are in our favour?

 

You had just convinced me you were not mafia, but your insistence on trying to find a hole where there isn't one is making me suspicious of you all over again.

When I made my vote YOU HAD NOT VOTED, therefor it was only RHC and Bodanki on 3 votes. It was a 50/50 situation. I felt that it was more likely that RHC was mafia and Bodanki wasn't. So I voted accordingly. I wasn't sure on RHC however and if possible I wanted to get sky under suspicion. Whether I voted for RHC or not didn't make much difference as either way his head was remaining on the chopping block.

You had some "last minute conscience" that compelled you to change. Not the same

 

I've changed to Astro as his behaviour does seen odd... But I would have gone for magic as number 1 choice. Only reason I haven't is he already has 4 votes.

 

Come on mate, read what I'm writing, don't be a dick. I'm not comparing our actions or motives. I'm showing there is a comparison in that we are both the obvious targets to vote for.

My link would be that they were both voting for you @ 5 ish yesterday ..... giving you 3 votes .... but by 7 had both picked other random people for no real reason leaving you nicely in the clear when it came to the 8 o'clock deadline
