I'd have Rooney at 10 instead of Oscar but not Fabregas so depends on who we played centre mid with Matic. Di Maria definitely and a couple of others are of course close. Costa, RVP, Falcao are all in similar class so that's debateable.
That would change if they had good strikers rather that garbage. Same applies to chelsea before the summer.

I think it was a good deal all round considering he wasn't getting much game time with us. Could bite us in the arse though considering all the talent you've brought in, but I can't see him playing every single game with Rooney, Di Maria, Falcao and RVP there too. Ignore the inane pikey above me.

I don't think you can just look at how he performs for United in isolation. We just need to see how we perform and how the money we raised was invested in the next couple of seasons to judge whether it was a good decision or not. Mata could score 30 goals and get player of the year but if we win the title with players bought in from the sale of Mata (and others) it would be good business for us. Far too early to judge who has come out best in this deal. Early indication is he'll be a decent player for you and we invested wisely in the likes of Costa, Matic, Fabregas with the money from the Mata and Luiz deals.
