1) Hernandez 2) Elmo 3) Dawson Thought livermore was poor today didn't seem to have a position and doesn't win enough 50/50s. Also robertsons worst game for us but he was due one after starting the season so well.
Is it just me who thought Robertson was shaky at the back? Good going forward, but a bit suspect in defence. For me; Diame - Strong display in parts and bullied the midfield. Dawson - Much better than I expected, always in the right place. Hernandez - Some nice touches, great header and could have had two more but for the bar and a decent save.
Dawson - looked much more comfortable in a back 4 Hernandez - looks real quality and looks to have great control Diame - great debut capped off with a top quality finish I thought tonight's game was a great advert for the Premier League with both teams going out for the win and no diving or cheating to be seen. WHam were miles better than they were last season and they will cause teams problems with their pace. We stuck to the task well and our new signings all look exciting players and I'm sure we can't wait until they are all fully fit
Robertson remained good in his attack play but he needs to learn when to push. In a 442 he needs to learn more discipline. May be he's looked better previously because he was mainly part of a 3-5-2? He left Davies very exposed, which may be contributing to the fact I didn't think he played particularly well.
Can I propose that any known pro name changers have their votes rendered invalid? Reason being that, not only are they not Hull City fans, they haven't being going long enough to have any understanding of the game, therefore skewing the results and giving an inaccurate representation of levels of performance. They should be banned from the site but at the very least they must not be allowed to participate in activities such as this.
yeah, thats what we said for 6 months, I kinda knew he would have a good game, I imagine he'll have a fairly decent half - three-quarters of a season with you, then stories of a fairly low release clause will appear in the press to tempt the top 6 club he craves. Good game,
Diame - Beast in midfield, took hold of the game, good touches and great goal Hernandez - Like a lot of top goalscorers he does little to help the team off the ball, but when he's on it he does something special. Great goal and an even better attempt. Dawson - Only really because there is nobody else to pick. He had a great first half with crucial blocks but then an awful second half apart from his last minute save.
