I understand that - but it's a chant that was there LONG before the Allam's were. What is the need to jeer it - I don't chant it at 19:04, but I will chant it whenever I want to support my team. Does this mean people like myself deserve to be jeered? The fact fans are booing another set for chanting a age-old chant is utterly deplorable.

Fair point mate, but it is at 19:04, it's obvious why they're chanting it..

Nothing wrong with the chant, it's the timing and the obviousness of it.

bullshit, **** off and drop in the acid you prick

Booing is exactly the sort of thing I thought Bruce was warning against. If the pro-name change lot want to make a point then what is wrong with singing a song in praise of the Allams or the Tigers rather than booing fellow fans and a song that actually supports the team?

The battle for the moral high round continues.

There are some proper drama queens on here though.

Out of interest what do people think of the North Stand chanting where were you when we were **** at their own supporters?

If certain posters want to start squealing like tarts about the booing coming across as bad on TV they might want to think about how that sounded.

Fans chant things at certain times all over the country. Stilyan Petrov gets applauded every 19th minute at Villa. I don't see the problem with it - it's just a song, there's no malice or violence that go alongside it? Yes, a SMALL MINORITY of fans take it too far - but jeering fans' opinions and jeering a club song is wrong. Dr. Allam's argument is unproven and to many "brand management" specialists completely invalid. You gain recognition by being a good football team, not being named after an animal.

The booing was disgusting. It was obviously by those in favour of the name change, well those prepared to sell their principles for a dream (that Allam will actually get extra investment).

Rather than booing why not sing your own songs? Sorry, you don't have the passion or support for that!

Little but he speaks french
Ben arfa had a clause for return in nufc for 15 jan 2015 if he want
bruce and hba NUFC for september

Shake what up?

I've said many times that I would rather stay as Hull City but at the end of the day, if the price of the name change means we continue to build as a club and stay in the premier league then it's well worth the change.

People go on about history etc, lots of people would have loved to live to the day, seeing the position where the club is now.

Then you have others that dwell on the past, like it or not, the club is now in the hands of the future generation, not the old.

it's the old faustian pact. you and your craven ilk would sell your underaged daughters and your own arseholes to any taker for any price.

Well said,

The silent majority would be better served responding to the 19:04 chant with "Allam til we die"

at least that would be funny and ironic

With a minority because it wasn't a majority of the fans booing at the chant, it will give Allam something to hold onto now and I wouldn't be surprised he uses this in his next interview with the media.

At the end of the day; We all have our own views. I want to remain as Hull City AFC but I would give up the club name for Allam to stay.

I get your frustration, but don't say something stupid like that. Have a valid comeback of why you're against it, like the majority of posters on here. No need for a petty argument on here tonight after a fantastic team performance.

i did, then he's a boring twat, is our weatherman, everyone knows it, its not frustration, i just like winding him up

You can't, you was banned as him for having multiple accounts & being an all round bell end. Good to see you're consistent.

CANAL+ says / hba isn't play HULL vs nufc and he had a clause
if ben arfa want return in nufc up to jan 2015
not recall but ben arfa choice

I'm a bell end because I have my own views?

This is the problem with this forum, too many f*cking hot heads who think they're Charles Bronson and go all gung-ho on someone because they don't agree with them. Some of you guys go on about me but I'm not the one that's abusive, I'm consistent with my views, what is wrong with that?

You have no argument for, do you?

The trouble is CTWD can't see the wood for the trees.

It's simple really:

We want the good times to keep coming - Therefore we know we need to keep Allam - The name issue is irrelevant because even if Allam gets his way it will change back after he's gone - But by that time our future in the Prem could be secure.

CTWD want to kill the goose that lays the golden eggs - To stop a temporary name change they want to cut off our source of revenue and send the club spiralling back down the leagues.
