    I think Astro and Bodanki are both mafia, but neither are the don and my vote has accidentally muddied the waters..

    No the plan is not to look for mafia changes (IMO the mafia would go along with the coinflip and take their chances rather than reveal themselves) the plan is to endanger them by getting them at risk. It is still likely an innocent will die, but at least there is a chance of a mafia dying. The maximum chance is if all people are involved (4/15 or 27% for 1 vote per person). The minimum chance is if 1 person is voted for (about 0%, the mafia would not allow it to happen). 3 people in a coinflip is better than 2 and although I don't suspect Gerrez I didn't suspect the others and since an innocent was likely to die anyway increasing the odds of getting a mafia is better than doing nothing.

    Random chance is ALL WE HAVE in round 1.

    I can understand a revenge vote- but how would me not being online last night assume guilt?

    Night for you is evening for me- I was out of town. I've been far from silent so can't be accused of hiding in the shadows even if I wasn't online last night.

    Mafia might let it go to chance if there are three or more people involved as then they have a 2/3 or better chance of killing a towns person without revealing themselves, provided it isn't the don at risk.

    Which is why with Bodanki facing a 50/50 elimination with RHC you jumped in last minute to increase the odds of a towns person dieting without completely blowing your cover! Didn't you? Mafia!

    But if each person has a 27% chance of being mafia, then 2 x 27% x 50% is the same as 3 x 27% x 33.3%, i.e. the total probability of lynching a mafia is unchanged.
