Problem is, if we discuss who to investigate then the snitch also knows. Only way we can do it is if a cop reveals themselves and we select two or three for them to decide between. The doctor can protect that cop, we'd just have to hope the cop and snitch don't pick the same person. Of course, there is no way of knowing whether they have or not either. But, the other cop can be checking someone else out secretly too knowing who has been publicly targeted.

 

Bodanki who you saved . Astro who also changed his vote after conferring with you and bodanki. Could the unknown be YOU ? I think YES

See, that bit in bold is the only thing making me think you may be a townie.. that and the fact you've been consistent over the 2 days and last game.

I saved him thinking he was innocent but then Astros late move has made me think he was actually mafia in the first place and I got fooooled!

 

The problem for me, is that if Astro is innocent and so am I.... Then we are no closer to knowing if Bodanki was mafia or not...

 

But we already had multiples. And why do it so late?

If cop comes out early I would tend to believe them. If the balance was close that Mafia could win next round if we believed the wrong person I wouldn't believe them.

Lucaaas in game one was clearly a cop as he had nothing to gain by coming out so early with the Don's name. Would have been silly to sacrifice him if he wasn't.

Snitch adds an extra dimension to the game. I guess it depends who the cop looked at... if it was someone the snitch would have unlikely picked I'd believe them.

 

Could it actually be some of the quieter posters, skylarker, minxy, magic?

 

Not sure quotes from previous games really helps, but I guess consistency in approach may give you some idea whether you chose to use that or not though....

 

I agree... that's why I want a 2 horse race and us not just to vote all on Astro.

That's why Astro is still my prime suspect. I can see a scenario he is innocent (don't think he is but can see it)- so I want pressure on someone else. Not necessary to coin toss pressure... but enough that Mafia might be tempted to shift votes to save Astro.

 

I'm not really sure what we would want to learn from them. I just wanted to make the point about how right Gerrez was about DR.

 

We where quite quick to pile up the votes, maybe the mafia just sat back and watched us get the wrong idea...

Exactly like the last game if you look at my actions and think for a moment; why would I propose my plan which is specifically designed to maximize the number of people at risk during the coinflip

I have suspicions on Sky. Magic because of no conversion and him not online. But not enough to change vote.

I think they could be targets for the cops though.

 

Then I guess it depends how much we view afcftw and Bod as connected with Astro. If they are, then we should put pressure on one of them (I would say Bodanki). Otherwise we should try someone completely different (e.g. sky, hash, minxy, magic) to have a greater chance of one of the pressured one being mafia.

 

Doing it last minute was what made if suspicious. And didn't give time for Mafia to react and protect themselves (if you're innocent).
If you were trying to force a coin toss to judge people's reactions, wouldn't it have made sense to do so earlier- so that Mafia had a chance to react and out themselves?

If you had changed to Gerrez thirty minutes earlier I could see the logic- but last minute makes you look suspicious and doesn't help because it didn't put pressure on anyone new until it was too late.

 

Skylarker is top of my suspicion list at the moment. Don't know if Astro is actually just sticking to his plan or if he was making a mafia move..
