OT: Mafia game thread starts Sunday 8pm 14/9/14

I completely agree on your choices of 4 Mafia. In terms of my suspicion:
Astro first.
Bod second.
AFCFTW third (although I'm willing to rule out that mistake as a newbie mistake... but more likely Mafia discussed saving Bod last minute and wires got crossed about who was going to do it).

Magic is only really suspicious because of no conversion made. This could have been because of someone not really understanding the game didn't send in conversion. If everyone was experienced I'd say definitely Magic... but with so many new players I'm less inclined to paint him as Don.

Quite possibly, but not definitely.





Oh, but why would you say RHC innocent? To make yourself look less guilty. Let's see what Astro's death reveals first though. If Astro is guilty- you're probably innocent (might get converted tonight though). If Astro is innocent, you're not off the hook.

I'm just trying to look a little deeper into some reasoning's. Astro has been very consistent in his approach from last game and from what he said he was going to do day 1. Might be pulling the wool over my eyes though.

 

I was saving Bodanki thinking he was innocent, Astro jumped in and put someone else in the firing line but didn't take Bodanki out of it, which in reckon means Bodanki isn't the don, but could still be mafia.

I assume the investigator only found out someone was a townie and doesn't want to reveal themselves for fear of being picked off?

 

RHC changed his mind far too often for him to know what he was doing. That convinced me he was innocent along with no one trying to save him. If I were Mafia, why would I try to save a innocent?

 

I should of changed by vote earlier to save the suspicion! I made a mistake that is going to waste loads of people's time worrying whether I'm mafia! I have to admit it is making me laugh but I'm sorry

 

Of course, what they found out could be wrong with the snitch about too. I just hope our investigator went for someone other than afc, bod, RHC, or myself as we were obvious targets. Of course, that's a 1 in 4 chance of picking the same one too

 

That worries me. If Astro and AFC just pulled a "DR" from last game. Astro almost certainly killed this round. If he is innocent, AFC is probably next. If they're both innocent- Mafia could be very strong by the time town get to follow another avenue.

I do think Astro is guilty. And if he is, Bod probably is too. (and AFC would also be a prime suspect).

We do need to keep our minds open though and not assume we've solved everything. People do stupid things.

 

The only person I'm almost 100% is innocent is gerrez.. And he thinks I'm mafia

There are two cops. A doctor can prevent a cop from being assassinated by the Mafia (but not converted).

I think it would be worth risking a cop (and have doctor protect them) if they happened to investigate Bod, AFC, or Astro last night and any of those three showed up innocent. If they are innocent we could be heading down the wrong path.

 

I think Bodanki, Astro, skylarker and an unknown are mafia and I don't think Bodanki or Astro are the don.

 

Or, if they located the Don last night- since we have a doctor and only the Don can assassinate or convert- if you found the Don let us know!

 

Its not bloody funny. that's two games in a row I've had to fight on the first day

 

So announcing my action 3.5 hours before I did it and explaining my system to you all about 1000 times over the last few weeks counts as "last minute" and "dodgy"

Then a case of do we believe them... or could they be a mafia planting false info..

Or the snitch could have been lucky and picked the same person and our investigator finds something out but it's the wrong info?

Also, do the investigators find out specific roles or just if someone is mafia/townie?
