OT: Mafia game thread starts Sunday 8pm 14/9/14

I was starting to wonder, hence my London mafia comment. They seem the two outstanding candidates so far. Which means it probably isn't them, but never mind.

 

my table was first vote in at top then down but SOME PEOPLE are voting so often i think i have just deleted and reinserted several times. I have the number of changes done separately

But person on right is last person to vote- or not necessarily.

 

This game is far more complicated than the last because of the volumes of players.

 

Do you want to do a deal and both switch votes to Bodanki? Thus saving ourselves from a possible coin-flip death (as things stand)?

Personally, I doubt it. If they were the first person to vote for each other I'd consider it more likely. But they were 2nd on each other.

Still possible though! Unexpected tactic from two first time players if they were in collusion with each other.

 

How do you know they are first time players?

 

i reviewed and last person to vote is on right as we speak

 

That makes sense since you are using the fact that you are sure of your own innocence (that's your source of information in terms of the game theory or mathematics)

 

Or both change to RHC who has cast what I see as the most suspicious vote so far and when people have picked up on it he hasn't come in with any reason why....

But I'll go for Bodanki if it saves my skin.. I'd like to play on longer than one round

Edit: at the moment I'm thinking neither you or Bodanki are mafia by the way..

 

It's also going to be more difficult (for town) than the last game. An "even" game is usually considered # of Mafia = square root of total players. (in this case 4)- which is what they start out at...but with conversion they could have 5. So town is going to have to work extra hard in this game.

# of Mafia never reached square root of the town in last game because conversion never happened- so had odds stacked against them. This time it will take an extra diligent town... which means really important to take Mafia out early. Longer we wait- or more we leave the game to random luck, the more likely Mafia are to win.

 

I don't watch mafia movies too scary for me

Assume based on first time playing with us... and also based on their comments early on. I supposed it is possible they have played before.

 

Hmm, seems like the sort of thing a mafia would say. Bodanki gives us more chance of staying alive. I change my vote to Bodanki. Afcftw, you've got 15 minutes to do likewise.

 

I'll vote bodanki out of fear...

If he is the Don it'd be the worst mistake in Mafia history thus would be ****ing hilarious and we can rip him forever In fact I'll have to change my vote to Gerrez even though I suspect RHC is involved somehow too
