Just checked up the reason, TSS. Apparently Phones4U will have to close down due to the end of their network deal with EE, leaving them with no network partner.
No, hope not. Beefy would have said something. Employess invariably get wind of this sort of thing. Presumably their deal was with Orange, who have been trying to distance themselves from themselves [and presumably anyone connected to their previous existence] because they were so crap. That's my uneducated guess.

what i don't understand about stuff like this is how they can be released back into the public whilst awaiting sentencing. i know the odds of him doing it again between now and then are unlikely, but why should he be given any sort of freedom in the meantime?
Crazy I know, but the only reason to refuse bail is if you are a threat to the public or may abscond (i.e. have no fixed abode). I suspect he is being given time to sort his life out, but don't see why he should. Judges can be surprisingly lenient on *****philes (makes you think, doesn't it)...I remember one judge, upon letting a serial rapist go free, say, 'You are a continuing threat to young women, but I am willing to give you the benefit of the doubt.'
Its a threat to the public, likelihood of committing further offences or failure to surrender. Strict bail conditions are expected to be set enabling most people to be released. Tragically not enough room in our jails.
but what's to stop him just killing himself? i know that's what a lot would want and then we wouldn't have to pay for him to be locked up, but maybe his victims want to see justice done through spending the rest of his life in jail instead of taking the easy way out
It's the fact that he did it to kids who had/have cancer which makes it even worse. He'll get a warm reception in prison. Oh wait hang on, even killers hate *****s.
