Agreed. Expect wholesale changes to the way Scotland, Wales and N.Ireland are governed, the NO campaign have virtually guaranteed that.

Peter Kellner (President of YouGov) gave a keynote on the future of political parties yesterday at Portcullis House. He was asked a question about devolution, and whether we can expect to have an English Parliament in the near future in the event of a NO vote.

He answered quite eruditely "I'd much rather have a messy, irrational system which makes no sense at all but works (the current scenario with Scottish MPs and MSPs), than a system which is all very tidy and sensible, but doesn't work in practice (4 devolved parliaments with Westminster rendered essentially toothless)".

DB are also prime movers in the neo-liberal world and played a large part in causing the crash, so excuse me if I don't take their little contribution as anything other than support for their fellow erm! crooks. I accept that you will not all agree with my description of them as crooks that is a personal view of mine.

The crash was caused by a variety of events, all motivated by greed, and fed by blind stupidity. It all began with grossly overvalued real estate in the USA. As many mortgages as possible were needed to feed the appetites of Lehman Bros, Bear Stearns, who were the prime movers in the mortgage backed security mkt. As the demand was so high, along with rewards, mortgages were being given on grossly inflated values to people who didn't even have jobs. I could go on about what came next, but that was the underlying cause.

Deutsche Bank, I assure you, were relatively minor fish in that whole sorry saga.

Even though it was patently clear I was talking about "a vote"? Or did you think that when I said "It is entirely illogical to give anyone outside of Scotland a say on the matter" that I was talking about opinions?

For clarity, when I said "a say" I was talking about "a vote", not an opinion, but in my defence I would have thought that was perfectly clear seeing as how i mentioned a vote 4 times.

Seem to be forgotten that Brown and Balls and company had emptied the treasury prior to the so called crash leaving us defenceless in fiscal terms
The year of the (so called bank ) crash Brown at the annual mansion house bankers pa dinner told said bankers they were the best in the business
It was of Course Brown and Balls who deregulated the same banks

It is so simple to blame the good old U S of A

In effect we are using helicopter survey methods in examination of major change when the truth is far simpler down on earth.
Start examination in depth of Mr Salmonds history

Without knowing exactly what those positions are, that criticism is invalid. I doubt that Deutsche would be stupid enough not to have offset most of those positions I.e. Offset hedges that whichever way the mkt moves, they are covered. Just quoting total figures without knowing the composition of them, is meaningless.

I've just asked a Scots lassie friend of mine on facebook how she'd like it to go on Thursday, she answered that she's sick and tired of hearing it and why do the yes campaign spout so much hatred. I explained to her that the yes campaign hate the English and this is about getting away from England as Wales and Ireland do not enter the thinking of the yes campaign. I await her response.

What makes you think I or anyone in the Yes camp hates The English? Have you lived in Scotland, visited maybe and had a bad experience?

It seems you know more about Scottish people than the lassie on FaceBook, and that about 50% of Scots hate the English and the lassie you spoke to on FaceBook does not know this despite being Scottish? Where does she live, Brigadoon?

Them, and virtually every other newspaper in the country.

Oh, and the editor of Choson Sinbo, the regime's 'mouthpiece' to Koreans in Japan.

"I believe independence will be positive as it will encourage personal exchanges and provide both countries with business chances. North Korea is rich in natural resources and we like the taste of Scotch whisky, so we can be beneficial to each other."

Reportedly North Korean media is set to report victory for YES whichever way the vote goes. Why on earth they would risk letting the subjects know that there is such a thing as a 'vote', I have no idea!
