For a start, I figured Costa at his present rate of scoring will clock up 67 goals by the seasons end,---and that's just the PL. Enough to break the record 60 goals in 1930. I am secretly hoping we will break our own record points score of 95 as well. How about being the first team to clock up 100+ points. Happy days, Blues!!!

If Costa stays relatively injury-free, can see him reaching the high 30's. Can see us breaking our goals scored record as well.

Would love the points total. Not too much fussed about DC's individual record.
In his absence Remy could do a decent job. We should walk the league.

BM2, just love the way you think !! I also think Fabregas staying fit will be as important as Costa staying fit !!

I think a treble is definitely on the cards this year. Even its just a domestic one. I think we have enough to trouble any team now

5 more goals and Costa will hit the magical 12 league goals marker. A marker Drogba only managed to surpass on 2 of his 8 seasons with Chelsea:biggrin:

It shows how shocking your team have been when it's taken you this long to come back on here. I take it the next time you don't win for a few weeks you'll go quiet again? Please do.

I have commented on here after every one of our games, and was on here the whole of last season when things were going wrong for us. So not really sure what your point is.

You've certainly been a lot quieter lately. What's your opinion on Costa now BTW? Weren't you one of the ones slagging off the signing before the season?

I've been playing a game. It is called spot the media pundit before and after. Some brave souls made their trepidatious forecast on Chelsea winning the title based on preseason and transfer deals before any balls were kicked in anger (NB. No balls have been abused during this post). Oh deary deary me, some other 'ex-superstars' of the game and punditry appear to be only just now claiming Chelsea are title favourites. It is reassuring to know that these people are at least watching the games before they write or speak, something which has not always been the case.

Dfer. It will be another set of predictions next week, ...and the week after! If you want a reliable prediction ask Jose Mourinho!
