Diame to join livemore and Huddlestone in midfield , back three Dawson Chester and Davies, Elmo, Robertson wing backs. Hernandez has his visa has trained with the team and is match fit so I can imagine Bruce may start with him up front with jelavic . Ramirez and Ben Arfa are both short of match fitness but would be great impact substitutes the prospect of facing even a three quarters fit HBA in the last 20 minutes would not be one many defenders would relish. Then there's Ince , again the idea of Ince and HBA on at the same time along with Elmo and Robertson just is ****ing amazing. Can't remember when I've looked forward so much to a match ( Billy Bremners debut ? ) course it could all end in tears. Incidentally does anyone know what ticket allocation West Ham have or if the match is sold out ?
I have no idea what team Brucie will put out. Didn't Jelly and Long go straight in when they joined even though they'd hardly trained with the team? Can't f**ing wait. So many options.
I've been out for dinner with some West Ham fans tonight, they've got a box tomorrow night, one thought they'd win 3-1, one thought they'd win 1-0, the other three thought they'd lose.
You obviously mean you've 'been out for tea' with them Lambo. We know you've spent a bit of time down there, but ffs don't be going all southern on us now
With HBA not eligible for next week I'm sure Bruce will want to give him some good playing time tomorrow to see how ready he is....probably the last 30 minutes at least. Hernandez should be ready to start now the visa is sorted. Diame will want to play against his old team and should stiffen the middle defensively. Hope Robertson is good to go....if not Brady seems to be back in good form for LW. Ince, Quinnie, and Ramirez will provide a strong bench along with HBA, Macca, and Meyler. Looking forward to a cracking match and a strong win to take us up to 6th or 7th. McGregor Chester Dawson Davies Elmo Livermore Diame Huddlestone Robertson or Brady Hernandez Jelavic Subs Harper Rosenior McShane Ince Ramirez or Meyler HBA Quinnie
I just hope that we win as I am recording it. Far better to watch a game over that we win then one that goes in some other direction.
Really hard to call the team for this one, none of us really know the fitness levels of the new signings. You shouldn't expect too many of them to play McGregor Rosenior Davies Dawson Robertson Elmohamady Huddlestone Livermore Ben Arfa Jelavic Abel
It doesn't seem to make a blind bit of difference anywhere else. People just don't want to pay the ludicrous £35 price, especially not after that clown has piped up again. We wont sell out against Man City either.
No, that is not great. The Club and Team come first - not internal politics. Support is what the team needs and IF we starting putting the ball in the net on a regular basis the crowds will come back bigger than ever and we will sell out every home game. West Ham are not much of a 'draw-card' but could be the chance the team needs to show what they've got. I do hope so but the new signings still need some match time together before they will 'gel'.
I have to agree that £35 and £50 is ludicrous to watch a game of football, and I think those levels do admission will price many people out of going, I honestly don't think that it has much to do with anything else that's going on.
