Here's a video of his tackle - and it looks 'good' for a red.

I said some weeks ago, i was willing to give him a chance 4 more games, well he has got 2 left,
but after watching todays game this guy is completely, tactically inept.

17 games W4, D3 L10, this is a terrible record, 2 more consecutive defeats and he has surpassed Sanches record..
If we stick with this guy, and he must get wins under his belt we are relegated.
As one Reading fan said to me you guys always had fight, but what's happened, your layers seem to be floundering.

The stats from today are, overall, our worst so far this season -

    Reading first

    Possession 66% to 34%
Shots 17-6, Shots on Target 7-1
    Chances Created 12-3
    Passing 89%-75%

Sure being down to 10 men may be reflected in the 'possession' but the rest ... ? Although to be fair the 'shots on target' ratio is about the norm (see the 'Running Against the Stats' thread) and as froggy asks, what on earth have they been doing over the last two weeks?

I've not seen any highlights yet, but the radio reports said we were playing quite well, considering being a man down for so long. I don't think yesterday should change anyone's mind about Magath: if you weren't a fan of his, it's another failure with no fresh evidence in his favour. On the other hand, lots of us said Smith would be the missing piece of the jigsaw. His sending off can't be blamed on Magath, can it? The biggest shame is that we'll have to wait 3 or so games before we get another chance to see how he fits in.

And if he uses this excuse, of missing Smith, for future failures he needs to depart...

I called for his head before the Cardiff game. For yesterday I give him the 10 men down excuse. Against Forrest I expect nothing. That's why I give him the next 2 home games. Anything less than 4 points he needs to make way, together with the CEO.

Scott Parker's assessment on the club website:

    http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2014/september/14/parker-no-excuses

He says we'd have lost with 11. Not seen any highlights so can't comment, but based on what I saw of Forest v Derby today we'll do well to get anything on Wednesday. Fail to win either of the next two and surely Felix is gone.

Parker's comments look like that the whole Fulham team has underestimated the Championship!

If that's the case, the people who are calling for Magath due to his inexperience at this level might have a point...

Still time but we need to make amends very quickly!

In an interview with BBC London Sport among Felix's comments was a very telling one. Namely, "that he was currently out of his comfort zone". Difficult to see how he can stay in post in those circumstances

I'm sorry but I haven't been able to post the link. Frankly it's not an easy interview to listen to - he sounds at times like a lost soul at times.

Scott Parker's "we wouldn't have won with 11" comment has in fact been cut by the Club from this version. It was in the original though.

Says a lot about the state of affairs within the Club at the moment.

I despair! Have they forgotten how the internet works now? Or am I meant to delete the comment from my brain?

Indeed. Don't know if it's incompetence or naivety but it's turning us into a right laughing stock. And in Bidley's words from another context "simply not good enough".

For the record here is the Scott Parker text from the original post -

It will be interesting if Parker get a game on Wednesday, someone is obviously not amused.

Nothing wrong with him being honest. The unbelievable thing is that the 'spin doctors' let his original comment go through in the first place. And then tried to cover up their boob by re-issuing an edited version.

Spent some tome today at the training ground, and speaking to some of the staff it appears that there is a lot of backroom
discontent, especially with those that have been with us for some time.
several of the old stalwarts were saying that the moral is so low that they believe their will be wholesale changes if the
next 2/3 games don't show some positives.
I was hoping that this season we would bounce straight back, my only hope now is we can consolidate in this division and
not be once again panicking comes March.
I can assure the fans that we will not be relegated Felix Megath March 2014.
Please lets not hear this statement again
this season. We have the talent, all we need is the tactics to put it all together and its becoming clearer to those that
watch week in and out that this managerial team is way out of its depth.
