Over 84% of the world follow one religion or another. Don't you think it could be viewed as arrogant for the 16% non believers to tell the vast majority that they're wrong? I'm one of the 16% by the way. But it's not for me to tell everyone else that they're wasting their time believing in something that doesn't exist. Even though they are misguided!
I dont believe that 84% of the world really follow religion. As a statistic id be classed as CofE as I was christened without consent as a baby but thankfully it was more just the done thing and I wasn't dragged to church brainwashed and indoctrined into a ridiculous faith.. It's hard to talk religion without causing offense but I truly feel sorry for anyone who believes in god.

When you consider that census' across the globe include Agnosticism and Atheism as religion then you can see how they've come up with 84%
I was christened so I'm deemed a christian though I'm certainly not practicing. I have read large portions of the bible out of curiosity, and there is a constant recurring theme. Gods pissed off, very pissed off. If he isn't destroying people through forms of natural disasters he's playing off one set of people against another to kill each other. He tells one of he's biggest prophets Ezekiel to bake human 5hit & eat it. Why? **** only knows. It does have a happy ending though, Gods going to wreak havoc upon the earth, disease, war, famine, tidal waves, earthquakes & meteors. Most of the planet will be burnt, most of who die will be given a one way ticket to hell to suffer for eternity, unless they bend the knee to Jesus.
Seriously, we Christians (lol) will be screwed in a few decades time when the (once) Muslim minority has finally taken over this country. Their higher birthrate, immigration and conversions will see to that. Billy in a hijab, anyone?

Problem is even if this group get taken down another will just rise up in it's place. Think of Islamic countries & the way of life, brought up from birth under their doctrines never knowing any different, an ever watchful eye upon you making sure you never step out of line, doing so could result in mutilation or death. Living under constant suppression can't be a very nice way to live, they must be boiling up inside, venting it by anything they see as being opposed to the will of Allah. You go back to your mud hut at night & think about your 40 bits of fanny waiting for you in paradise if you die a martyr, can't knock a quick **** out though because Allah would frown upon it & you might loose your hand if you get caught. You wake up the next day to the news that a mighty army of holy warriors is waging a war against the infidels, are you willing to die in the name of Allah? Too ****ing right you are, turn down the chance and burn in hell or get yourself out there and kill or be killed, you've got over three dozen minges waiting for a good seeing to in heaven. How do you combat that? To me it's ****ing impossible unless you abolish the root cause of it.
Most people just want a quiet life mate. They'd prefer to see these groups disappear so they can just get on with their lives. But when a vicious group like this lot come into your area, you're either with them or against them. So most will be with them. For now. First chance they'll get, they'll kick them out. But that will only happen when a stronger force comes in. The man in the street is just collateral damage to all these different groups.
That's true mate, not all will be viscous by nature & will be joining through fear of death if they do not but these groups always seem to have a certain level of influence to bring people to their cause also. There will be people from all over Europe & beyond and not just those from Britain that have joined up with them as an act of their own will. I've no doubt that they will fall at some point, it's the seemingly inevitable rise of something similar to take their place once they do that makes me think there will never be an end to it all. When us & the yanks trained the original core of this group to take down Assad our intelligence must have had the hindsight to know that something like this had a good chance of happening. Makes me think that there may be a bigger purpose to all this behind the scenes, may well just be a simple case of causing more destabilization in the region to exert more control from our own sources.

I completely agree mate, chopping peoples heads off and burying women and children alive indicates a level of brainwashing beyond any hope of reprieve. If it comes down to the point where, as always seems to be the case, us & the Americans go in there and wipe them out there will be survivors & relatives of those who die who will tell tales of the evil British & Americans who killed there brothers, fathers, uncles or what have you. A young & easily impressionable generation hearing this would automatically develop a hatred for westerners & could be easily garnered to form another group & the problem begins all over again. That's not to say that the west hasn't exactly helped themselves in relation to that, we haven't exactly got a good reputation in them parts after the likes of Iraq and the way things have went since. We need a method of stopping these groups forming in the first place, that's a bigger and more difficult task than killing them once they are in plain sight.

Aye, we do need rid and we need rid quickly, but we need to get rid on a much bigger level than taking down just one group. If you pull a weed up and leave the root it'll just end up growing back again. Some people won't like this & it's just my view of it but the root that needs destroying is Islam itself. I know people will point the finger of prejudice at me & I'm not intent on causing offense but this won't ever end the way things stand. I know there will be the usual religion of peace spin and all that but no matter what peoples interpretation of what is written it's the facts of what it is actually doing that need to be looked at.

With your military background if someone asked you the best way to get after these bastards what would recommend? SAS type of thing, airstrikes or troops on the ground. My understanding is that we know what certain area there holding these people....would love to get your take on it after your experiences in NI
Some of these monsters are recruited from Britain, we need to send in moles to get themselves recruited so we can pin point the targets, then send in ground troops. Screw the air strikes, they'll probably kill more innocent people then they'll kill enemy. Covert infiltration to gain information is the way for me.
