Also, very impressive from Villa. A lot of people were predicting them for relegation this season

Liverpool have lost 2 and are still level on points with us, puts into perspective how sh!t our start has been as well.

I would say we are 2 points behind of where we should be at least......everton draw is not bad and draw at city is not worse in the world. Taking into account that we have played tough qualifiers I think we have done ok.

Di Maria---Ozil---Sanchez would have been tasty.

We haven't signed the wrong Real player. We're playing the Real player in the wrong frickin position because AW is a stubborn muppet.

The only really poor result was away at Leicester. Otherwise we have done ok, not great so far. We need to start picking up some wins now.

I'm hoping when Walcott gets back Ozil will be in the center. Think it's possible?

That would be a logical step.

Which means AW will probably do something else like put Sanogo as AMR

He played on the right under Mourinho at Real and got the highest number of assists. TBF it was very much a starting position and he had the freedom to roam when he wanted to, but he was set up in the team to play on the right. His problem then was always stamina and he rarely lasted more than 70 mins. Not convinced he's able to manage more than that now.

I think it's vital. Ozil is a great player, but he is wasted on the wing. I can see why Wenger is playing him, because he's too good to leave out of the team. But he needs to go in the middle so that he can create for runners on the flanks and players joining from MF.

    Sanchez . . . Welbeck . . . Walcott
    .....................Ozil.....................
    ......Ramsey/Wilshere..Arteta

That's a lightening quick attack when we get those players in these postitions. Now we just need a proper DM .........

We (Southampton) have sold out our 5,100 tickets for the trip up next week, should be a good one. How many arsenal fans are likely to go?

I put this in another thread but worth having it here too. Ozil is not stuck on the left hand side only. See his heatmaps.

He needs confidence. I think di maria excites people more cuz he has real speed, balance and trickery. We did say no to di Maria in order to get to Ozil :/

Fabregas scores for Chelski, he's proving to be one excellent signing, and making Wenger's decision to not sign him look all the more stupid...Wenger said he didn't get him because he has Ozil and then he doesn't even play Ozil in his actual position, preferring to play Wilshere, who's inferior to both Fabregas and Ozil...But hey, Wenger knows best right?

Wenger's ardent supporters, what defence do you currently have for Wenger? Bad formation, playing players out of position, failing to sign what was needed, seriously what defence have you lot got left?

We were told that once the financial constraints were off then we could judge Wenger as he now has the cash to go out and buy what's needed, yet it's pretty much the same old story of not getting the required players, so what excuses do you now have? :).

Fabregas was one of Wengers biggest mistakes. He so say didn't sign him as it may have affected Ramseys development.
Problem is Ramsey at the moment has gone backwards compared to last season and lets not forget Fabregas is world class which is what we badly need at this time.

Not sure I will ever forgive Wenger for not signing Fabregas.

He's just continued his old Arsenal form now he's back in the EPL. Terrible decision by the manger.
