Lets get the football out shall we?

Seems Hernandez has his visa, so may start or on the bench?

I'm still not sure what formation or personnel we are going to use, I know Brucey has said Diame isnt ready but I expect him to play or come on.

    I'm going for

    Macgregor
    Davies Chester Dawson
    Elmo Robertson
    Hudd Livermore
    Ramirez
    Jelavic Hernandez

Don't we use a service provided by a Belgium fan anymore?

Burnsy reckons Abel H on the bench.

Well that doesn't really take a great deal of expertise to say, has he even trained with us yet?

I really hope we see at least one of our new signings who hasn't played so far.

Has he? I haven't seen that anywhere. I had Diame down as the most likely of the four to start.

Anyone heard any fitness news about Robertson, meanwhile?

Me too, as Ramirez isn't fully fit according to Southampton.

Totally guesswork, so most likely to be wrong but I think as Brucey likes to break them in in the second half, so I would expect at most one of Ramirez or Diame to start with Ben Arfa to show in the 2nd half. Maybe Hernandez not to come on at all.

I think all three of Livermore, Diame and Thudd will start, with one of Quinn, Ben Arfa or Ramirez floating behind Jelavic.

blimey, talk aboug starting a thread early, 3/10, lacks the quality of other match thread makers, on another note, i had a very strange dream last night

we were playing away in slovakia, i was in the city away stand, and a terrorist cell group stormed the ground, shooting the players and guards, fans started to flee, and i was hid behind a desk in the concourse, seeing the group walk past, i managed to flee, and then the next room was a huge boat, with cabins, and they were storming the place, looking for any survivors, then zombies started to eat people... interesting

    McGregor
    Davies Chester Dawson
    Elmo Robertson
    Thudd Diame Livermore
    Ramirez
    Jelavic

Subs: Harper, Macca, Ince, Brady, Quinn, Ben Arfa, Hernandez

Really hard to pick that team! No room for Meyler, Rosey, Sagbo or Aluko

Chester got a straight red which means a 3 match ban doesn't it?

    I'd like to see this:

    ----------------- McGregor
Rosenior - Centre Back - Centre Back - Robertson
    ----------- Huddlestone - Livermore
    - Ramirez -------- Ben Arfa --------- Brady
    ------------------ Jelavic

I can't choose the best pair of defenders though. You'd probably have to say Dawson (big new signing) and Davies (captain) but that'd be really harsh on Chester.

I expect to see a 352 with most new signings on the bench.

Hold the phone, isn't Robertson injured? Sure I saw he'd be back for the Newcastle game.

Nothing's been reported on whether he's recovered or not - I imagine Brucey wants to keep BFS guessing. But hopefully he's fit.

I'm looking forward to seeing our new signing Ben Arthur , somebody on here tried to convince me he is a foreign chap but that is an obviously English name as any fool can see
