Absolutely. Pardew may have shown his ineptitude, but he is at the level Ashley wants (or at least the level he's willing to pay for). While he's owner, we cannot expect improvement on the quality of manager or playing squad.

Look, Ashley sacked Kinnear. If he sacks Pardew, let's at least wait and see before judging. I don't mind bracing ourselves for the worst, but surely it's unanimous on getting Pardew out?

Pardew also said "we didn't have long to prepare after the Internationals". So Southampton had a time machine? The rest of the league on a different timezone?

I want the **** gone. I'm sick of seeing the spineless bastard. If he hasn't gone by Saturday the ground will be like a powder keg.

What's worth watching on TV tonight? Anything but MOTD - I'm refusing to watch it.

I feel for you guys. When Pardew was at Saints, he lacked a plan B, and some of his substitutions were a bit hard to fathom, but in general he wasn't a bad manager. He turned things round for us, after that twat redknapp, and brought in Sir Rickie Lambert, and won us the JPT. Most fans were a bit shocked when he was fired, when we weren't doing too badly, but he seems to have absolutely lost his way with you guys. It could be with us it was a good combination of owner/chairman/manager, but with you guys you have a weird owner and maybe Pardew is out of his depth.

Anyway, I hope things turn round for you.

Don't bother mate, a horribly quick, wrapped up season, 8 episodes, skips seven incredibly interesting years in the history of crime in the United States as HBO have pulled another amazing show as per usual.

Did Pardew just blame Newcastle fans?

Let me guess - something along the lines of the fans being too vocally grumpy which unsettled the players and led to a poor performance. Am I close?

Yep, what a ****. I hated him when he managed us even tho most Saints fans loved him, he is a arrogant twat.

If Mbiwa had given the performance Williamson gave yesterday he'd have been hauled off at half time. Same goes for Cabella and Ben Arfa. He has too many favourites and has gone stale.

His time was up at the end of February last season.
