We do look terrible in every department. I'm clinging to the hope that the players are being made to look even worse than they actually are. Hopefully it's not a vain one and a better manager may be able to do something with them. Attack and defence though... Everyone's fears coming true after failing to strengthen in the transfer window.

Please, for once can a Twitter rumour be accurate. Just imagine not having to see or listen to Pardew ever again, never mind never having to watch Pardew brand football.

 

So shortly before Pardew sent a message saying he wouldn't be at the press conference, he said this:
