no.. if you paid attention, I have never been against it. That is slightly different from being for it.
I ask my 11 year old nephew what he though of Hull Tigers? He said 'Why are they copying Castleford Tigers? 'Rugby is rubbish' If 11 years old can work it out why can't others?
hope you slapped him and said "the name, NOT the sport, you ****ing TARD... you get your brains from me I notice"
Trust me, you'll never be a leader. Our dimmest posters tend to be those who don't mind a name change, which isn't really a surprise.
Because it's an embarrassing, cringeworthy name perhaps? Thought that was fairly obvious... And you'd be proud of being the Club that changes English football, basically Americanising it? Enticing already moronic owners to think, "Wow, if they can do that, does that mean I can..." Vincent Tan will probably try and rename Cardiff City to Cardiff Red Dragons. I for one wouldn't be happy having other Clubs know it was our Club's fault for future embarrassments.
Well I always regarded myself as a Hull City fan and a 'true fan'. I have followed City all my life and I am not young. I follow them home and away. I am quite loud and certainly passionate. I am very much against the name change or rebranding. However it seems clear that I not really a fan at all. Why? Well although I certainly enjoy a beer or two there are times when I drive to matches and a beer or two is not an option. In these cases my non-alcoholic drink of choice would have to be coffee and rather than pay exorbitant prices for undrinkable stuff - I have been know to commit the sin of carrying a flask! As for 'Hull Tigers' taking on Blackpool in the Championship - how confident are you that Blackpool will survive in the Championship? MK Dons the most universally despised club? Surely they are only ever second only to L**ds.
We got higher attendance when we where managed by Brown. You could not get a ticket for a home game. Up to now we have not managed to have a sellout for any of our games other than the top 4
as was stated earlier, that probably has more to do with the price than the name, we're still named Hull City, are we not? so gates are falling even under the name Hull City. If we had changed our name, and gates fell sharply - you might haved a point.
To most I think you'll find. Look at fans of other Clubs supporting "No to Hull Tigers", look at various pundits supporting it (Jeff Stelling for example), CTWD obviously, it's not rocket science that it's a ridiculous idea. If the ballot had contained the options (which CTWD asked for): - No to Hull Tigers but Allams to stay - No to Hull Tigers and Allams leave - Yes to Hull Tigers I think we both know which one would have won, and Allam knows this hence the two options: - Yes to Hull Tigers and the continued ownership of the Allams - No to Hull Tigers Can you not see what he's doing there?
you won't go, so what's it matter? you will be missed. poor Tigers - how will they live without you?? you are an integral part of the Hull Tigers squad.
