Well that's my gripe, some of the fans going on about being 'happy' are the same fans who say we are challengers, bla bla bla, if they just admitted we're not good enough, not contenders etc, it would be all good.
lol but last season we werent even good. small steps . If only we could learn to NOT play the Arsenal way for the last 20 mins , and just see the game out and take the points.
If they want to believe that then fine, I don't see why it matters. If everyone thought the same then forums would be ****
We're comparing apples and oranges, last season AWAY from home against the big sides we were s**t, at home, none of them beat us, we were generally solid against them, so what's changed? People keep comparing this home performance with an AWAY performance, the comparison doesn't work. If today's game was at the Etihad, then we could all turn around and say that was a massive improvement, but this was at home.
f** off will you, nothing in that post was punching anybody, trying to stifle comments now under the pretext of 'don't punch me'.
Nah, I'm not bitter, just can't stand the delusions. ;-). Be happy, but don't say we are a top top top team when we hardly beat big teams, and then you come say you're happy, the 2 don't go together. And as for optimistic, as I said, there's a difference between delusions of grandeur, and being optimistic.
I was directing it to you, not your post. Every time something doesn't go our way you start lashing out at other people on here and go into fits of emotional rage where there's no talking rationally with you. Whatever's causing you to behave that way really isn't our problem. You simply need to realise that the people on here are actually people and not some internet-based punchbag for you to attack when you want to let out your frustration.
I'd have taken a point before the game. I'd have taken a win and a draw during the game. I'm disappointed we dropped the points especially as Chez probably had that had Flamini not impeded him and vice-versa but we played our best so far this season and even that's not our best ad we can still improve. And with Theo's return soon, things are defo looking up.
I really don't know why some pple like to whinge, we got a point against one the favourites for the title, more than held our own, but still people whine and moan! AAARGH. I would have taken a point at the start! More than disappointed about the points dropped against Leicester.
I didn't lash out at nobody until little princess afcw insulted me, but that's what you punks in the spin job brigade ALWAYS do, insult first, then act like victims, so again, **** off. ;-).
We're have I said we are a top top top team? Your exaggerations are ridiculous. My comments on this game where it's probably a fair result but I'm disappointed we didn't hold our lead. You make things up to argue against, constantly rage at your computer and detest anyone who has anything good to say about the club when your angry. You need to go have a cup of tea and a sit down.
Small team mentality, shows you deep down know we're not good enough. Don't know any team with actual title aspirations and their fans saying yeah I'd take a point before the game against a title rival, seeing as they didn't win any of their previous 2 games.
You do claim we are contenders and have a chance of winning, so don't try to have your cake and eat it by then saying OH YESSSSS i'm so happy that yet again we fail to beat a big side, at home. ;-). Look if anyone's mad, it's fans like you because I don't lap up your bullshit mediocrity standards, I know you'd like all fans to accept your low standards of being happy with draws and failures to beat the big teams, newsflash, it's not going to happen.
No not really. We're playing the team that won the title last season if you're telling me you'd be disappointed not losing to them you're delusional and you know it. No small team bullshit about it.
A lot of positives to take from the game today. Of course also a few depressives are on their rants, but overall more to be happy about, than sad about. There is a long way to go in the season and we are improving noticeably. We all know that the tile isn't won until spring, let's just see where we are come March, before we start making pronouncements of doom. I wish the commentators would stop going on about zonal marking; we don't concede goals because of zonal marking; we concede goals because we have a team of midgets! We have to zonal mark because man to man would be a disaster. I thought they were lucky to get a point. Ozil and Ramsey need a few more games like that to get them going. That was the best I've ever seen Wishere play.
You quoted me and started going off on one about spin job etc when I commented that we started the game well, which we did and others agreed. Which you regularly do. My comment of "god your stupid" then sent you raging through the thread swearing and whining.
