Are to do a feature on Hull city afc today 12.10pm. I wonder where the actual focus will be. On the field or off it ?
It's Dawson and Livermore answering questions I think. Sure I saw the Club page on Facebook post a pic of them sat in the West Stand.
Saw it last night on BBC world, Dawson and Livermore interview was ok. Guest presenter some no name knobhead south american football expert was asked about Hull Tigers, he said in south america we are pronounced Hull siteeh and maybe Tigers would be better. Better if they learned to talk properly.
Was the no name 'knobhead' Tim Vickery by any chance? Massively respected journalist with great understanding if the game. Also, whoever it was, are they a 'knobhead' because they made what was clearly a joke?
It was pretty boring, QPR got put ahead of us in the running order as well. At least it wasn't the stupid name change thing that the owner successfully gets talked about everywhere.
Vickery is definitely one of the better UK sports journalists. And of course no UK pundit has ever mispronounced a foreign team's name...
Tim Vickery is a top bloke. Weird and wonderful brazillian pronunciations of English names is just a thing he does. Here he explains how they pronounce Woodgate...
He was criminally underused by the BBC during the world cup, always interesting to hear what he has to say.
Rio claimed that QPR should have beaten Hull? what match was he playing in? wasn't that where his mistake cost them the game? does the word DUH mean anything to him?
They weren't that good against us at all, hardly came close to scoring apart from the penalty and aside from our goal, the best chance was Ince's 1-on-1. I could make a better case for saying we should have won by more.
