stringer has spoken..... and some interesting comments from posh fans re: CMS.....bottom of link.... http://www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/...sfer_news_posh_call_off_baldock_bid_1_2814517
Sounds good. I reckon the defenders are Masilela and Ben Mee, either on loan or signed. The latter hopefully. Stringer sounds confident about Nugent, which is good. The Peterboro fans are also talking about the CMS transfer as a done deal. Four signings in one day? Maybe we should spread them out a bit so we've got some concrete news every day!
Nugent and Masilela will sign. I hope the other is Mee, he's twice as good as St Ledger but it might be him instead. People seem a bit doubting of Nugent but I'd be more confident that he'd return a large amount of goals than CMS, Derbyshire or Tae-Se. Mainly because he already has a record of 20+ goals. He's struggled in the Premiership but in this league he's done well, got 14 goals last season which is a decent return.
Masilela and Ben Mee Nugent, StL and CMS Not sure I will get any work done tomorrow Good job the boss is on holiday!
I think quite a lot of free agents will sign for clubs tommorow as tommorow is the last day of their contract and as it stands on friday they have no income Its great that Sven got people down on contracts early (King, Wellens, Gallagher, Oakley) as we dont have to worry about them while Bristol are worried about Maynard
Exciting day ahead! Hopefully Mee is one of the signings as well as Nugent. I still think we need at least one other forward as I can see Howard leaving, and maybe even Waghorn - hope not but he may want more games then he will get. Also think we'll need at least 2 other CH's. You need at least 4 going into the season and I don't think we can include Tunchev in this number. So this leaves a couple more, hopefully one that can cover RB as we are struggling if anything happened to Peltier. Fun times!
Im hoping this will be Vitor Vitor and Mee, in those 2, you have yourself 2 centre backs, and a left and right back
Stringer talks bollocks. I dont mind people speculating but considering he is supposed to be a football pundit and then he shouts out on twitter, "Nugent, nailed on". Then a few hours later he states (and I quote) "In truth the Nugent shout was just reading between the lines but it looks unlikely. Let's see" Well **** me Mr Ian Stringer...how about on football focus the boy Lineker states "Ferguson walked out of United last night" and then two hours later says " As he went home for his tea and kip, but he'll be back in now as they are at home to Arsenal." You're a frigging football-man-in-the-know not some second guessing footie fan. You should be sacked for spouting utter unreliable ****, I mean if your bosses read the **** you come out with then you'd be in trouble. Are you a playground gossiping kid or just pissed up? I sugest that you keep your mouth firmly shut rather than spreading your empty headed wild guesses to an audience and it's attention you so obviously crave - you twat!
Yeah, c'mon Burmese, do you believe Stringer or not? All this waffling on, say what you mean man! Apparently Stringer has another headline ready to be published, 'King Leaves Leicester'. Two hours later though he'll be posting 'But he's back now, says he had a lovely ride out'.
Nugents contract aparently runs out at the end of today, so i thought today seemed a bit odd, tomorrow though ......
Maybe all the people following Stringer on twatter should stop and start following Hayley Gallagher and that guy called Bert, maybe they have more chance of predicting correctly?
