So who's going to play their 'wildcard' and pretend they hadn't selected any Toon players then?

 

I would suggest Siem De Jong and Daniel Sturridge as good transfers IN.
Maybe even Willo,Colo, Krul - clean sheets galore on the way.
I'll be putting them in with my wildcard.

I was also going to add in Cisse as he is apparently a good goalscorer and also Ross Barkley

 

Nows the time to use your wild cards. Dier, Sturridge, Costa and others doubtful.

 

You're welcome, I'm always willing to offer tips.

I am top after all, although 90,000+ place is nothing to shout about.
Probably means I'm top of a league full of misfits, that is akin to the level Blyth Spartans Reserves play, at best.

My tip for today, is for anyone thinking of using the Wildcard - DON'T.
It's far too early - keep your duds, you know they'll come good.
You wouldn't have picked them in the first place otherwise, or then again you may as good as Pardew as recognising a good footballer.

Is it possible for players to be 'Pardewed' via the medium of online fantasy football leagues? I'm sure some of my selections have been jinxed and I'm placing the blame firmly at Pardew's door. There is absolutely no other valid explanation that I will accept. I think that because I put my supporting team down as a Newcastle, the system has an inbuilt program that uses the defenders as strikers and only gives points to strikers if they keep a clean sheet. There's no other way I could so far down the league. It couldn't possibly be that my selections were wrong, so they MUST have been Pardewed. Pardew has a lot to answer for! He really must go now!

 

Given that our exalted leader doesn't get to pick and choose the players he would really like, he probably has numerous teams in all types of Fantasy Football. I would think he uses this as means of fulfilling his dreams in being able to pick players like Daniel Sturridge.

So yes, I firmly believe players can be Pardewed this way.
In fact look at the injuries he's caused to the likes of Sturridge and Barkley.

He has more to answer than people realise.

 

I started the season with Sturridge and Barkley - bloody Pardew!

 

Obi, you know it makes sense to keep Sturridge.
If you decide to transfer him out, can I suggest you replace with a Southampton forward.
He would either score a hat-trick or be Pardewed.
Win Win.

Unfortunately only three.
A bloody disgrace if you ask me.
They should change the rules for next season and allow more players from the team that plays us.
