Can't wait, my first game of the season. Good thing about this one is that Swansea tend to attack for the whole game. Might be a bit nervy at times, but should be exciting.
Aye, they aren't the "park the bus" type team but will be cautious. I dont expect there to be a goal early on if I am honest. I think we may go in at half time 1-0 up, but I expect them to score, can't see a clean sheet for us here. Like I said, I am going with 3-1
I'm going 1.1. Ever the pessimist. Ideally, I'd love a minimum of 4 points from the next 2 games so I'm not overly bothered how they come. If we get the full 6, I'll likely wee with excitement. Come on Chelsea!
Thank crunchie the league is back.....hate these international breaks ! Result wise, i think we should take this but a little bit worried about the goals we are conceding. If we get this sector back to last year's form then the trophy is coming back to The Bridge. Delighted with Costa and Fabregas...the real deal. As for Brana, what was he on during the summer. Haven't seen the team line ups but expect us to put out our best 11 if Costa is fit. If not the Remy is an interesting choice. Jose will want a win here to pile the points on and keep the pressure on the other guys. Not the game to experiment. I'll settle for 1-0 but expect 2-1 to us. That said, well done to Swansea for their start.
I'm hoping Jose will have given the boys a good running down for the defending at Everton, and so I'd wager a 1-0, 2-0 to us. Tight at the back. It will be interesting to see if Oscar gets his place back, or even Schurrle. I was very impressed by Willian, and for me he really is a starter for us. Despite not being the most prolific player, he adds a lot in my opinion. Also, the greatly derided Ramires of last season looks again to be an important player for us. I was also impressed by him at Everton. Mourinho has a selection dilemma on his hands.
Nice to see our would be rivals plumbing for a draw as a Chelsea win would confirm what they truly fear.
