That's the worst part - the NIMBY f**nut is a season ticket holder at WHL.

Levy missed a trick by not burning his business down three summers ago.

Hope a minor earthquake occurs under Archway Steel and drops the ****ers.

Rumour a few months back was Spurs offered around £1.5m-£2m and offered to buy them land elsewhere and they still rejected.

    "Spurs fans" my arse.

If I was a criminal, I'd... Wait best not say, be just my luck someone actually done what I'm thinking and framed me with the comment, leaving me in the s**tter.

But if I was a criminal, I'd do something very naughty <laugh>

But anyway, **** you Josif and your ****y Archway Steel. Hope you go bust you greedy ****s.

Apologies for the over-use of swearing :D

I'm reading there are two companies - who's the other? Or have I read it wrong and we're the other company involved?

I'm also reading that the other property offered is not big enough for them, and they're willing to move, just not at the price offered.

Stinks of greed or someone being tight-fisted.

It's frustrating all round but you have to resspect the process and the right of those not to be turfed out just because a big business wants their land. I'm not sure whether the owners are being a bit cynical in all this, appealing a decision is either a chance for their case to be heard in a more impartial environment that doesn't involve politicians or just that they're dragging their heels. I wouldn't be at all surprised if there's been posturing on both sides and that this is settled a few days before it gets to the high court. Maddeningly slow progress without anyone you can really blame.

The statement hints at why we might have changed architects though as we're trying to build it quicker than we'd previously planned.

    Cynical is an understatement YV.

They have a Twitter account which recently went private after some spats with Spurs fans and someone today mentioned, that once our OS released the statement, they tweeted pretty much immediately after saying: "On my way to couldntgiveaf**istan".

They're full well mugging us off and loving every minute of it.

Disagreementa can start off amicable and end up getting ugly if they go on a long time. I doubt it's without provocation either, I'm sure there's been a good number of Spurs fans being abusive to them.

It's a lack of professionalism but you'd expect that from a smaller company. At a larger company like Spurs, you lose the ability to say whatever you like but you can bet there have been some flippant comments made behind closed doors amongst the board members.

Archway make out they're making sure they get the best deal for themselves - even though their stance ****s over every small business around WHL, especially if the club has to play away from Tottenham for a season to speed up the building process.

The London Legacy Development Committee appear to have welcomed the idea of a groundshare between Spurs and West Ham at the Olympic stadium.
Hardly ideal, but probably a better alternative than anything else that's been suggested for the gap season.

Playing some games in London would be better than none I guess.

SOS's point about criminals attacking their business, although it was said tongue in cheek, I'm amazed their life hasn't been made so difficult that they have almost had to move. Can you imagine if this happened in somewhere abroad like Turkey or Italy with some of their hardcore fans? Or even in a City like Newcastle? I bet they wouldn't dream of fighting the decision there!

It's amazing how sniffy the Standard were at the mere thought of us playing games at Twickenham. Personally I can't see the problem for the following reasons:
    i.) It's in London, FFS.
ii.) Twickenham gets used about half a dozen times a year, and three of those are in February-March
iii.) If the GAA allowed football to be played at Croke Park, why can't the RFU let football be played at Twickenham?
iv.) Wales played rugby matches at Wembley when the Millennium Stadium was being built and the world didn't end, how about returning the favour?
iv.) The rugger buggers could learn that supporting a team in white goes beyond singing the same bloody song...but only singing it in the last four minutes if the home side have an unassailable lead

If I were Levy, I'd reconfigure WHL's plumbing in the general direction of Archway's front door.

Wasn't there a club in Eastern Europe(Ukraine?) where the manager left after his press conference because their ultras stormed the press conference and chucked him out for managing a rival team.

This post explains the increased level of moaning <laugh>

There is no future in letting the Spurs board think we are in anyway happy.
