I see what you mean but you would still be voting for it even if you don't agree with it, so what you're saying is (correct me if I'm wrong) you think Allam changing the name is the lesser of two evils, but what do you think will happen if he doesn't change the name that could be worse?
City till we die are a group of fans, who think they are a better supporter than somebody with a different opinion!....im with allam on this and I think CTWD are making a massive fuss about it, even going against curtis davies when he said, its the owners choice, we are having the best time in our clubs history right now and if allam had his way that would be as hull tigers! But you will always get people who hate breaking tradition!!
I'm similar, studied history and there is no logic or reason to changing the name other than indulging an old man
It would appear so. They've eliminated the prospect of a name change, and Allam is now selling the club. They've no longer got a purpose.
It's been up for sale since April as Mr Allam said himself today. Have we been sold? No we have not. Anyway, if you believe a word that man says, you're as crazy as he is.
Our owner just held a press conference to announce that he was pressing ahead with his attempt to change our name, did you miss it?
The club has been up for sale for 5 months apparently so another clear and transparent act by the owner for us all to admire (not publicly stating this until now)
Evidently. I've been busy all day. I read a news article that said he was selling the club. Sorry for not trawling through 60+ pages on a thread.
As an outsider looking in, I'd like to check. Are you talking about the CTWD campaign, or your chairman here?
Let's not be fooled by all this jibberish AA has wanted out from early doors when he discovered the. Hidden debt from the previous regime. It's just easier to blame others for his undue dilegence on the purchase. He stated pre name change bollocks that he wouldn't have bought had he known. Some on here are just thick and petty minded to think otherwise
How many CTWD members put their hands in their pockets to save Hull City when Assem Allam couldn't be arsed? Before you answer remember it wasn't just the collections at the match but some people handed over thousands of pounds to make sure bills were paid.
